    cheers jon cant get the hornets to group in it though still got the 510 to test though... but I'm liking this going back to basics atb si They are an awkward pellet mate - well made and a good idea but, rarely accurate. I've only ever been able to get the .22s to group with my S10 and, the .177s with my old Edgun Lelya. I found Polymag shorts to be a lot more forgiving.

    I was just thinking about this today - it feels like it's been ages since I carried a couple of good rabbits back to the car. I do miss that The thing is, it's darker earlier, I'm knackered when I leave work and, I can't get on my favourite rabbit permission until 10pm. Although I do bitch about it, I really don't mind the cold. In fact, I don't really notice it when I spot a rabbit and start a stalk. f**k it, I'm going to sort it for Tuesday night .....I haven't been to the rugby club for a few weeks and, now that that bloody super moon is on the wain, it could be a good night

    An HW30 is a nice little, well made junior springer. Some places sell them as a kit with a pretty decent little 4x32 Weihrauch scope for less than £200. They'll usually produce around 6-7ftlb depending on calibre. However, at 8yrs old, he might still struggle with cocking it. If you want something a lot easier to kick start his interest - my daughters first rifle (when she was 9) was an SMK xs501. It's a lightweight, bolt action, single shot, Co2 rifle. These are less than £150 (rifle only). But, they can be prone to leaks from the end cap seal where the Co2 bulbs go in.
