  1. No need to apologise mate - I appreciate the warning. They were only a few quid each and, I'm pretty sure they're Chinese. They're definitely cast - not stainless steel. I was planning on giving everyone 'the chat' about what a catty is capable of and the damage that they can do - I'll warn them about the forks.
  2. I'm a branch manager for a national retailer. As always, at this time of year, we look forward to the Christmas do (piss up ) and Secret Santa. My staff all know that I enjoy hunting. They're no longer shocked by finding a rabbit or pigeon next to the milk in the fridge when they get to work in the morning We've got a varied mix of people at work - mums, blokes, lads, semi-retired. But, no one else that's into any kind of field sports so, this year, I decided to buy everyone a present I found these little metal cattys on Amazon - they're only a few quid each, they come with 2 dif

  5. I don't think it matters that much Phil, My understanding is that they need a bit of pressure behind the seals during storage - not necessarily full pressure, just a bit. I keep mine above 100bar and check them once a week to make sure there's no leaks. Mine have always been ok like this

  9. Take it back to the shop mate. Being new, it'll be under warranty. Don't be tempted to open it yourself - you'll invalidate your warranty.
  10. As above I'd get them in doors, take the stocks off, wipe them over and, let them acclimatise to the house. Then, when they're warm and dry, check them over and oil them. Good luck.
  11. Cheers I'm surprised that it sold so quick. These and the Sidewinders seem to really suit me. I'd recommend them to anyone
  12. Aww, c'mon Dave, sing along mate I'll even start you off - 'Millwall, Millwall, fu...........' Of course, I'm just kidding. The old girl's out of order
  13. The comment at the end was nothing compared to the big picture.......I mean, was that his grandmother ffs? Haha.... I know mate I think it was the whole set up that surprised me and made me laugh - the kiddy in a police outfit and granny egging him on. f***ing hell My dad's Millwall but, he would have belted me for that.
  14. Woah, ha ha ha, I'm gob smacked but, I'm also pissing myself laughing. I don't know what to say about that - especially the comment at the end coming from one so young

  21. This is one of my favourite scopes - they're nice and clear and the reticle is fine ...... I just don't need 2 of them. This one is around 5 months old and, is in excellent used condition. It's in it's original box, with all of the bits it came with when I bought it new - metal flip ups and tools, sunshade, side wheel. The manual, lense cloth and spare IR battery have never been out of their packet. The price is £200 - this includes Royal Mail 1st class, signed for delivery.
