  1. You grumpy fecker. Get stuck in and enjoy it I'm doing all the cooking this year - lamb, turkey and goose, while I get slowly pissed. We'll have friends and family over and, it'll be a good 'un (I binned that f***ing Trivial Pursuit game in the summer ). It's only once a year mate, enjoy it. Merry Christmas
  2. I can't offer any advice Mark because, I've got no experience of FWB rifles all. But, my thought is that you should keep it and persevere with it. From reading your earlier posts about this rifle and, knowing your reasons for buying it, I know how pleased you'll be when it finally comes on song It may take a while to sort but, don't get disheartened. When you're pissed off with it, put it away for a while - even it's in the cupboard for weeks. ...... It'll get there in the end and, you'll be glad when it does
  3. Cheers DJ, It's a nice thing to own but, it's an expensive ornament if it's not used. It's lovely to use - it shoots like a Daystate but, because it doesn't have any electronics, you can feel it
  4. fool proof tactic is shoot the rooks and jackdaws instead......did someone mention fieldcraft lol Ah, that'll be why this chicken tasted funny
  5. Sounds like he's made himself lonely if that's how he carries on. Well done to you for walking off - it sounds like a wise decision under the circumstances. ...... I just wouldn't bother with the old c**t anymore.
  6. Sounds like a good night mate Your first one's getting closer
  7. Sounds like a good day mate it was cheers jon only took him for an hour or so but he managed to get one with the photon in day mode which is no mean feat cos its not the best in daylight! i'll put him a hawke on next time. was quite odd telling him where to aim whilst discussing father christmas atb si I bet it was mate I'm glad he got one ....... it all helps toward their confidence.
  8. I've got 3 permissions now and, it's the same - I rarely ever see the owners. They all like a text before I go and, another the day after to let them know how I got on but, that's about it The bloke at the rugby club asked me stop telling him when I saw shaggers in the car park because his missus didn't like it
  9. I might shoot one and breast it - it can't taste any worse than McDonalds
  10. Gentlemen, stop paying for clothing and gear for concealment. Stop hanging around waiting for a shot, no need to sneak around any longer or, spend time working on fieldcraft. All you need is bunch of little chavs in wank suped up little bangers to congregate on your permission and throw their McDonalds wrappers all over the place before they leave (pricks!). I got well within 30yrds of this lot before I came into work this morning.
  11. 'Jess Phillips, who one told Dianne Abbott to f**k off' I like Jess
  12. I'm not sure there'll be any left soon We went from 21 on the first visit, to 17 on the next, then 7, then 2 I may have to change tactics before I take on another wager
  13. He's a good boy - he loves nicking the kidneys and liver that I leave in my shot rabbits It's funny as feck when he tries to lick the missus face afterwards
  14. Touche Ya feckers But, not entirely untrue at the moment
  15. Agreed. It's a shit situation you lot have got up there. Sorry to say Joe, it's probably not worth a lot mate...... If it's a 4ltr/300bar (?) and it's in test - maybe £30, considering that someone will have to buy a gauge and whip. A bit less if it's a 323bar. If it's out of test - probably scrap value. Good luck and atb.
  16. I've seen it on other forums but, never in the flesh. I'd love to try one out - it looks like a very handy piece of kit. I've had a Matador and a Lelya - they were both very capable. If this an improvement, it will be very good
  17. Aye, I've found this to be a small community with some real top blokes in it
  18. Good result I've always thought it odd how pigeons react like that - flapping about from a head shot and, dropping stone dead from a chest shot. I've found they also go quietly with a decent lower neck shot
  19. I do like those Falcons - I'm not surprised it did that damage ....... The dog's looking happy and useful as ever

    Roostin'

That looks like a nice place to shoot. Glad your rifle was ok mate.
  21. Same here - I'm a bit too simple for technology. I like to do it the old fashioned way Nice shooting btw
