  1. Cheers Renos .... I plan to - same to you mate. Atb
  2. Nice shooting Mark That's a cracking picture of Kaiser looking at the camera
  3. Cheers VM I didn't test any groups out that far today but, it was hitting spinners and knockdowns well out to 60yrds. I need to adjust the trigger and get used to this reticle (I've gotten accustomed to AMX) but, I don't think it'll have any issues - fingers crossed.
  4. Cheers Mark I'm really starting to like these. Those FNs are nice - so far, I think it's got the edge on this Prairie. I think because they're older and, the engineering is so simple and built to last, they've stood the test of time and, are very nice to use. It's a shame you're not closer mate - my FN12 is quite surprising with just how slick it is.
  5. The mag system is different to what I've used before - the mag isn't spring loaded - instead, it's indexed by the cocking mechanism when the bolt is pushed forward. A quirk of this is that the mag has to be fully rotated past the first chamber (like the picture). If this isn't done, the rifle cycles past the first pellet when the mag is put in. I don't mind this - like I say, just a quirk of an older rifle. I will be doing some more chrono checks just to make sure that all is ok but, so far so good. ...... it's a nice lightweight rifle that is a pleasure to use. I think it wi
  6. I put the combro away and, zeroed the rifle at 35yrds. I got the reticle mapped out and, found very little difference from 10 - 35yrds with 8.4gn AA Field The trigger is a little heavy at the moment. Once this is sorted, I can see accuracy being even better. All shots were taken at either x3 or x5 mag - the AA Fields just seem to race away right in front of the dot. I tested a few different and, again, Polymag shorts performed well.
  7. The club bottle is down to 195bar at the moment but, it gave me enough for what I needed. ...... the mag for this rifle holds 8 shots - I managed to test 7 mags over my combro with some strange results I think the results say more that my batteries need changing or, my combro needs recalibrating - accuracy testing from a few more fills was spot on The club does have a Chrony but, it's seen better days
  8. I've been so impressed with the little FN12, even though it's .22 and a single shot, that I decided to add another Falcon to the cabinet I spotted a Falcon Prairie CM .177, in excellent condition, at the RFD - Well, it was a no brainer ....... I got it home and fitted a nice, old leather cobra sling and, a Nikko Sterling Diamond 3-9x42 scope with a No 4 dot reticle. I quite like the simplicity of a duplex ret but, I fancied something different. The Prairie came with a Qtec silencer fitted but, it was still fairly loud. I changed it for a Hogan Decimeter and, it's really quietened t
  9. we took him to the pub for an hour Jon but it was strictly pop for young Ethan told him he's got 5 years left before I get him hammered!! lol just set up the rabbit slayer..glad I lost me old lamp now fullsizeoutput_250.jpeg fullsizeoutput_24f.jpeg I do like those Ledray torches - they can be pricey but, they're quality kit What do you think of the HW100 with the A&M cylinder fitted? that lamp was lighting up trees at 100yrd last night with all the light pollution so I recon it could be money well spent Jon the one I lost had filters that zapped the range, this ones g
  10. HA HA IT DOSE HAVE THAT LOOK ABOUT IT SNAP LOL I AM MATE I AM MORE THAN YOU KNOW ATVBJIMMY  You wouldn't want Oscar 99 to spot that while you're out after rabbits I don't dislike it, I'm just not sure about all of those tactical bits on a sub 12 air rifle. I'd love a real AR15 and a chance at hog hunting though I think I've become a Walnut and blued steel man But, it's your money mate - if it's accurate and you like it, that's all that counts

  17. Nice shooting mate I do like a dead Magpie
  18. I've never used bait - the 2 places that I have for rat shooting, we've sussed out their runs and, where they go for food. One is a huge grain silo - they live in the banks by it and, come out under a near by pallet for the spilled grain. The other is a pig farm - they run through the bushes at the back of the pens and, we usually shoot them off the troughs. They can be wary of anything new so, I just leave them to do what they know and, pick them off while they go about their business
  19. 'Michael Coe, 36, knocked out a 16-year-old boy after spotting him hugging his girlfriend near Upton Park Tube station in East Ham.' c**t! I guess he couldn't find a fully grown bloke to have a pop at.

  23. Some of these hospitals are a f***ing nightmare - the GWH in Swindon gave one of my customers a death sentence because they misdiagnosed him Him and his wife are nice people that didn't deserve it - they spent their lives helping troubled kids, proper lost causes that everyone else had given up on. I'm well pleased for your mate - I can't begin to imagine what this means for his family
