Quite regularly see wild ones here, only last 10 year mind, black as your hat and some of the dog ones are massive. Coming over Watership Down at about 5 - 5.30 am not unommon to see them, either darting into the verge or run over. No idea what they're eating as there certainly ain't the rabbits here that there used to be. Personally I'd stick to ferrets mate ( tried/ tested etc).
