  1. Domestic fixed price for setting traps and 3 return visits , 3rd visit remove traps . If still catching then charge extra per visit . Farms just a fixed visit price depending on the amount of traps down.
  2. Always keep 4 cages down the bottom of the garden around the sheds and ferret hutches . Even with no bait in they catch 5 or 6 a year . A bit embarrassing to have rats take up home in your garden when you control them for a living. Hence the reason I just have the cages set , like that I can let the odd hedgehog out unharmed .
  3. Phostoxin is for use against , Rabbits , Rats and moles only , use against anything else even by accident is an offence. If I have a warren to gas i often set up a trail cam for a couple of days first to make sure , and prove if needed that nothing other than the target species was using it.
  4. no matter the right end , which is the left end ?
  5. I'm sure the Cz452 is still made , after all everyone wants one . I've got a Cz452 .22 , 16" barrel , synthetic stock , can't fault the gun its more accurate than i'll ever be ???
  6. Definitely .22lr , you'll love it mate .
  7. Very interesting I like to see these old traps , but must say I would never use the one mentioned as I don't believe I could check it EVERY 4 hours max.
  8. If your as sure as you can be off a clean kill and have practiced, ( never can too much ) , then as a one off it does up your confidence in your abilities and equipment . I try to keep to 65 to meters , but last week when I measured one shot out it was 89 meters a clean head shot though between the eyes and ear .. With Cz452 and Winchester .22 lr 40 grain subs.
  9. all depends on the weather , usually start June - ish though ....
  10. I've caught the odd ginger/peachy coloured ones , have one in the freezer now , thought I might find a decent taxidermist and see what he can do with it . Never had a white one though , just the gingers down here.
  11. Bad luck mate , you'll get there and eventually you may even make a living out of it , but when you do its a great life !!!!
  12. Bought a xl8 and dr5 last year , wouldn't use anything else now , worth every penny.
  13. On a typical mole job you must make sure the hole is clean.
  14. Thanks , that keeps my options open.
  15. Hose it out , scrub it with some fairy and water , hose again. If you want to disinfect it use any supermarket spray for food services , the sort you get in a trigger spray.
  16. Bsa Ultramax .177 , bought it new last year love it, the bunnies don't
  17. Thanks , like I said very!! rarely get a job , bedbugs , so try to use what I've already got , but have now started to get abit more regular . Hence the reason I need to get a dedicated product/ solution . I did use Cimetrol when it was available , for fleas as well , but then moved onto Ficam W . I know Cimetrol + is out now . Would be good to hear how you get on with Demand Cs , cheers.
  18. Hi Pestie100 , just wondering what is top of your list , hardly ever get a bedbug job in this neck of the woods , but it would be good to know what is recommended to use .... I have used Ficam W in the past with good results...
  19. Various traps , breakback , fenn mk4 , magnum 110 , bait / block and grain , phostoxin , dog , ferret , pcp . the odd one with the semi auto , all of these work for me , but now we have another option ,,, , crikey ,,thought I carried plenty of gear already.. .
  20. You will not fail with your Talpex .
  21. Just Paid £1235 for a Benelli M2 , well not really as I traded my old browning semi-auto in , but that's the new price and worth every penny.
  22. Just give mine a coat of vegetable oil after a clean with some wire wool , seams to do the trick.
  23. This is just one more item that will soon be pushed through by the Brussels elite , best to keep this vital information under wraps.
