  1. I'm after a couple of 25yd or maybe 30 yard quickset long nets , are any of these posts still going? Andy Kelly seams to be a favourite.
  2. That's the way to do it , shame i'm so far away , you would be welcome .
  3. Rob , not everyone is like this , but it really is not what the forum is for, do some door knocking , get some knock backs and eventually you'll get there. Then use the forum for advice, oh and welcome , after a while you may get used to us.
  4. I want !!! hunting permission too , can someone give up theirs so i can have it . I promise to damage crops , disturb livestock , upset the farmers wife and shoot all the pheasants . Oh go on.

  7. Hi mate , i'm near Fakenham , I was about to post similar , I too need a hand tomorrow and this Saturday. shame you do too , perhaps we could arrange another time . I was part of a ferret club , did all the country shows , but they have lost their way :in that they are only interested in showing , not working ferrets. Have thought for a liitle while it would be great for a few like minded working guys to get together now and again.
  8. Glad you back into fieldsports mate, don't take this wrong but I hate people jumping on the forum to try and find permission. Its hard earnt and everyones after some. keep looking.
  9. you maybe lucky , if some ones into that , but I just use me mobile phone to do both. .
  10. never have done mate , keep some secauters in the bag for that, wrong spelling , but you know what I mean. .
  11. Well done mate, nice to see someone get out and secure permission , rather than just coming on hear asking for it, as if anyone would give up hard earnt land,,, .
  12. cheers , that's a really good price , many thanks.
  13. Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows the cheapest place to buy a new mk111 collar , Deben who make them seem to be one of the most expensive. I've bought collars locators in the past from uttings.
  14. Hi mate , nice to see someone close to me , hope they settle in . In my experience it is very rare that ferrets do not eventually get one , although some better than others . In 30+ years of keeping and working them I have only ever had one jill that would not get on with any others , whenever she was put near another she would jump on its back and bite. Needless to say I did not let this go on. She lived on her own in a hutch very near to the rest and made a ripe old age , I still miss her as beside all her faults she was a great worker and seemed to love people more than other ferrets .
  15. What a great sport we have , aint life grand , well sometimes .
  16. Welcome Scotland , don't know why , I have lines through this , Help moderator
  17. Yes Skinner , once in a lifetime days.
  18. I had my best day ever today on oil seed rape. Not my best bag ever by far , but the sun was out , the sky was blue and............ The pigeons where trickling in , the bag slowly growing and I watched a jay working along the hedge towards me. Luckily the jay came too close and dropped stone dead to the first shot , within seconds a buzzard landed about 30 yrds from me , hopped over to the jay , grabbed it and flew off. Wow , what a great thing to see and so close , that's what made it a great day, seeing wildlife that the majority of people can only dream of.
  19. Me too, god that drives me mad , why get you in and then pizz about with your traps,,,AHHHH!
  20. Hi I use a Cz452 and Winchester subs , it seams to enjoy this mix .
