  1. Not that many , using hollow points , but obviously against a backstop if at all possible.....
  2. It just doesn't seem to matter to some people how many questions you ask them to clarify that they have wasps , they are just convinced they have.
  3. I've found customers in general are moaning more about the price , but not until you've completed it , up until then when they need !!! your expertise the're all nicey , nicey.... I have started to tell people who insist that have wasps ??? , that if I get there and they are not there will be a small callout fee , just to cover my fuel . Always tell them this on the phone before I arrive , 3 times in the last month I have had people refuse to pay this , after aggreeing on the phone . Each time is a similar answer , something along the lines off , " well you haven't done any thing " . AAARRRGG
  4. May not of come across well , yes great at this range , what I had meant to say was if I was going out foxing I wouldn't reach for the .22 first , well maybe now I will though ...
  5. Yes , it certainly does the business , I would say upto 60yrds with a decent placed shot.
  6. Must admit , I have done the same in the past , but nowadays I just keep turning up when they ask me.
  7. Firstly not my preferred choice against Charlie , but the chance appeared today. I was out for a mooch about with the CZ452 after a bunnie or two on the stubbles , lovely day for an interrupted walk . As I approached a piece of rough shrub cover about 4 acres or so , I saw the teltale flash of reddy/ orange of a fox disappearing into cover. I backed into a hedgeline and full shade about 40yrds from the scrub and started to squeak , well you never know your luck I thought. To my amazement after only calling 3 times a fox appeared on a ditchside at the edge of the cover looking straight at
  8. Shot a browning gold semi-auto for years , only traded it in as I fancied a change . I did get more than I originally bought it for , , but I did get a Bennelli M2 though. .
  9. That's who I've just moved from .... If i'm allowed to say i'm now with www.cliverton.co.uk hope it helps someone else , so far so good .....
  10. Mine is only just over now and like I mentioned includes personal accident cover as well .
  11. The excess is £250 , the cover is for 5 million public liability + 5 million product liability .
  12. Did we know any better as kids , where we reckless or was it just fun..
  13. I have just renewed my public liability insurance and saved over £200 . The company I have moved to are giving me a like for like insurance to the last one I had . The cover includes use of firearms as well and accident cover . They where very helpful and talked me through the form filling, something we all hate !! A decent saving for any company in pest control and even more so for a soletrader, every penny counts..
  14. yeah me too , usually people flooding the forum asking for permission ????
  15. I have a set charge for an average size garden using no more than ten traps, often only 3 or 4 . this covers setting the traps and 3 return visits , removing the traps on the 3rd visit , if any more visits are needed the a charge per visit . I explain this to every new customer , previous ones know , take it or leave it . with new customers I ask for the payment on the first visit , when I set the traps.
  16. Gods own country , love it..
  17. Yes , great bit of Kit . here goes that .177 or .22 which is best again!!!!!! But it is .177..........
  18. Nice one mate , would love to hear how you get on . amongst others I flew a female harris for 6 years and loved it , the day I sold her I almost ran up the road after the car to get her back. I have regretted it ever since , but at the time with work commitments there was no option. even looking to move house this year to have more room to start hawking again.
  19. I finish a cage trapping job in a garden tomorrow ,, the lady agreed to pay me for 15 days trapping ??? , bit odd , don't know how she knew it would take this amount of time , but the moneys good. Any way 4 traps down , pre-baited and wired open for the first three days , use carrot chopped in half then each piece quartered . After 3 days , set them and have caught 9 so far , so not a bad haul. They are just rabbits coming in to feed on young plants in the garden. I must say its good to see rabbits in the cages in the mornings , its like someone delivered them for you over night.
  20. Nice one , well done mate , that looks great , full of potential ,,, happy days ahead.
