Don't be offended mate , I meant there are cheap imports and some of the best rifles out there are imports, that's why I said you pays your money you makes your choice. not directed at that guy or you. That comment could go for any gunshop , I personally believe in pay once cry once, there's another comment , self explanatory ???? Keep posting mate .

I have three of these semi autos, 2 black and 1 red action. What my boys and I use for all our pigeon and rough shooting, put thousands of all types of cartridges through them and Never had a Jam or any other problem with them. Joe. Hi Mate , a sound investment then ? Did you but them in sunny Norfolk? If so I think they have another customer!! Yes mate trade price, I have a new red action one 30" with extended choke in the cabinet if your interested. Trade £ I'm really looking to trade my browning in, but thanks any way.

If Charlie has been on a killing spree , a great bait is some of his slain prey . I have just used a cage and caught in less than 48hrs doing just this . A farmer phoned me up to say nearly all his chickens had been killed , he only had 15 just for their eggs , let them roam about the farm yard in the day and then penned the up at night . Seems like one night he didn't lock the gate/door closed properly , all dead apart from two nervous wrecks . I put the cage in the pen the next day with one of the killed chickens inside . Dear old fox couldn't resist coming back , but he only returned once

Decent Looking 'moling Probe'
Rowan replied to earth-thrower's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
Hi mate , that sounds like the alloy one that comes with the Phostoxin applicator, yes it looks good but is a pile of reindeer pooh , ( thought i'd be seasonal). I get my dibbers made up at a local engineering company , they charge me the princely sum of £10 , nice bit of steel welded handle and a bullet type tip on the end. Talking of Phostoxin applicators , my lastest one is also as good as useless , jams constantly , what a pile of as before. Anyone else had trouble with a jamming applicator or have I just got one made late on a Friday. -
Level 2 Cert In Pest Management/control Course.
Rowan replied to a topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
Don't get yourself wound up mate , even with all the mock papers you can find you will never come across all the questions that may be set . I took mine in early April , if you have done any sort of pest control before you will almost certainly , maybe, could just about , possibly pass ????????????? As said before a lot of it is general common sense , yes there is some legislation, but if you've done the course and stayed awake you will p!ss it . GOOD LUCK. -
Ever thought of writing your hunting trips down so you can remember them. Plus didn't get nothing means literally , you must of got something.

Too true , very rarely gas moles , but it is very effective on rabbits . Again this is a last resort on them as I would rather makes use of them when I can . However there are occasions when Phostoxin is another method that is handy to have. I have just priced a mole/Phostoxin job for a parish council, they have already had two different pest controllers in and their traps are constantly being nicked . hence the reason they have decided to try gas as another control method.

Keep ,plugging away mate , you will find someone to help you eventually . I was very lucky I found a great guy who flew peregrines , he eventually became my mentor and helped me through a Falconry apprenticeship scheme. I'm pretty sure that doesn't exist anymore .

hi mate , welcome . -
Lead poisoning is your best bet .

Cages generally work better on young rats , but you may have some luck with fully grown older ones , cages are readily available , but why live catch ?
-
hi mate , I too had never used long nets even after 30+ years of working ferrets , but now it's part of my living you have to get good results ! Definitely contact Nelson , he gave me some great advice and supplied some really good kit , it's made ferreting so much easier and productive.

He has not been very well lately, although that was a couple of weeks ago I have just had a couple of long nets of him , what a great guy. . I can really recommend him, very helpful indeed and a great price and product. You will not find better.
