    I have a couple, an Acorn one and a cheapie I got off flea bay. The ‘IR’ light on the Acorn one isn’t visible (think it’s called no-glow), whereas the other one is visible. Depending on where she intends using it this might be the difference between it getting noticed and nicked and it not. Again I would think Greyman could advise on this. G???

    Only taboo it seems if you’re suffering. There’s loads of stuff going on to try and get men to open up and get help. Difficult when we’re virtually hard wired not to. And I get the whole healthy body healthy mind thing, and staying away from alcohol, and it’s sound advice obviously..., but would also say that it’s no silver bullet. Plenty of fit and healthy young men take their lives because of depression. A few of the usual arsehole comments written I see too.

    I don’t hate those trying to come here, or blame them for trying. We only get one life, and if the boot was on the other foot I would be doing exactly the same as them. Anyone says they wouldn’t is a liar or a coward. I would however hang for treason any UK citizen caught trafficking or enabling illegal entry, or any who feed, house or employ illegal immigrants. I’m sure if we did that it would stop pretty quick.

    I hope today went as well as could be expected. All any of us can hope for when our time’s up is that we were loved. Nothing else matters.     Mine gets a letter sent home with home if he skins a knee. Can’t blame the school, they’ll simply be following protocol laid out by the council’s legal advisors. Common sense has long since gone out the window, with everyone now terrified of getting hauled into court. If we’re ever to go back then we need rid of the ‘where there’s blame there’s a claim’ culture, and the parasites who profit from it. Problem is that blame culture is all a lot of the younger generation have ever known. Sad

    Just done an all-inclusive in Turkey. I reckon there’s a few here could do a stone of nachos just for a starter. I’ve never seen gluttony on such a scale. I mean, I let my kids treat themselves, but some of the sights I’ve seen here, no wonder childhood obesity is such a problem. I take responsibility for every morsel my kids eat. I think anything less is tantamount to neglect. On that basis there’s a few parents over here should be locked up.

    Petty stuff. Yes Scotland were disappointing but England, other than kicking their way to a title in 2003, and given the size of the nation and resources they have, have been poor since the competition began. Bit like the football side. One world cup over 50 years ago when the likes of Germany, Italy, France have won multiple times. Perpetual under achievers.

    Said it before that all that was simply borne out of jealousy of AJ/Matchroom. Hearn took a great prospect and maximised his market potential, and made millions for him and the boxer.., whilst a ‘prime’ Fury was fighting for peanuts on the likes of Boxnation. Difference between what AJ did and Fury’s deal is that Hearn took AJ through the levels with the goal of unifying the division. Fury’s/Arum’s objective now seems to be milking it whilst it lasts.     Nearer the 50 mark than 40 now and, although still strong as an ox and as handsome as fcuk, maybe not as supple as I once was. Have been thinking of getting into yoga for a while. Might have a look at the video posted when I get back from hols. Congrats to the new dad. Fcuk knows what it has to do with yoga though.

    If you pay the right money to the right people you can get your study to conclude or ‘prove’ anything you want. I try and eat a ‘balance’ and range of foods, just because I think that’s what we’ve evolved to eat. Sugar for me is the killer.., and fizzy drinks. I won’t let my kids near them.

    Hearing Bika and they want £14.95 PPV for it ? I wouldn’t pay £14.95 to sit ringside for this. Benn was a warrior and great value back in the day..., he should leave us with that as his legacy.
