  1. Got to laugh at some on here posting about work. Must all be back/nightshift cos they’re posting on here all day.
  2. Nice. Lifted the last few carrots and beetroot this afternoon. Middle of feckin winter here now.
  3. Been looking forward to this since I heard it was being made a few years back. Three and half hour run time so not sure I’ll go and watch it at the flicks. Released on Netflix the end of November.

Specimen of a human being and one of a rare breed that transcends their sport and made people like me who don’t follow rugby sit up and take notice. Hard not to be moved to some extent seeing his peers pay tribute to him...
  5. If you pay the right money to the right people you can get your study to conclude or ‘prove’ anything you want. I try and eat a ‘balance’ and range of foods, just because I think that’s what we’ve evolved to eat. Sugar for me is the killer.., and fizzy drinks. I won’t let my kids near them.
  6. Sorry for your troubles. At least she’s not suffering now. God Bless.
  7. Nothing like hamming it up for a compo claim.
  8. Hearing Bika and they want £14.95 PPV for it ? I wouldn’t pay £14.95 to sit ringside for this. Benn was a warrior and great value back in the day..., he should leave us with that as his legacy.
  9. Caught the end of something the other night..., using lasers to knock out drones from literally miles away. Coming to an airport near you soon...
  10. His posts about stuff he was interested in were thought out and well articulated.., I might not always agree, but they were a decent contribution. Also seen him destroy loads of decent threads with the constant and tedious bickering and slagging loads of folk off. I’d have banned him for that alone, never mind making daft threats. There’s obviously a want about him. How many times has he been banned now?
  11. If it wasn’t for England we wouldn’t have a shit hole to send them to. God bless you England ???
  12. That hasn’t stopped you boring us all for years now how Fury is the greatest since Ali, how he would school AJ - FACT ect, blah, blah, blah ? Question is WHEN will we find out. Fury had it on a plate and turned it down for Schwarz.
  13. Announcing the decision the MC said...., “and still, the lineal heavyweight champion of the world”. Then post fight Fury talks about it being the 5th defence of his ‘title’. I get the whole lineal thing but if you’re out the ring for three years, then elect not to fight the best/current champion when you return, then to claim this ‘lineal’ champ thing is a fcuking joke, cringeworthy, and smacks of desperation for credibility.
  14. God’s country. Wouldn’t swap it for anywhere else in the world. In less than an hour I can be in some of the most beautiful land in the world, and not see another soul all day. Weather just makes us more resilient. Not a place for ‘men’ who’d moan and complain about it so maybe best you stay down South.
  15. ‘kin hell. Didn’t realise Fury fight was PPV and BT want £19.95. I mean, if this is a tick over fight it should be free surely to fcuk.
  16. “Yeah yeah bla bla bla” That’s you’re come back every time someone presents you with actual FACTS. Then deflect by changing the subject. It’s like trying to reason with someone who’s f****n bladdered. This discussion we’re having isn’t about whether AJ has a chin, or a heart.., this is about who’s been used as the biggest cash cow. And I’ll remind you it was you who f****n started it ? Now go and look at both fighter’s records and come back and tell us which of the two has CONSISTENTLY FOUGHT THE TOUGHER AND HIGHER RANKED OPPONENTS.

  18. By the time AJ had served his pro apprenticeship Fury had been stripped of his licence. Since his return I believe if he wanted it he could have had it. Joshua hasn’t ducked Fury. Fury was offered the Wembley fight and knocked it back in favour of a classic match up with Tom Schwarz ffs ?. Ruiz stepped in and did what Team Fury feared they couldn’t do. Fury turned down the Wilder rematch.., a fight many tip him to win. Why..., Tom f****n Schwarz ? Fury has previous going back a long way for this. Didn’t he vacate the British rather than fight Price citing he was setting higher
  19. Define cash cow. For me that’s a fighter being made easy fights for easy money and avoiding more dangerous and higher ranked opponents and risking a loss. Easy question for you Max. Look at both Fury’s and Joshua’s records. Then come back on and tell us which of the two has consistently fought the tougher and higher ranked opponents. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/479205 https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659461
  20. Nah..., none of them could’ve skinned a rabbit ?
  21. Think you’ve missed my point. The cash cow comment was for Max who’s consistently called AJ Hearn’s/Sky’s cash cow. Fury could’ve fought AJ or rematched Wilder, instead he’s fighting bums for relative chicken feed. ‘IF’ Fury gave away his earnings for the Wilder fight, good for him. Doesn’t change my opinion him and his promotion team are taking easy opponents for easy pay days.
  22. And how much did Warren and the ones doing the milking give away?
  23. Got what exactly? Fury has still got a bit to do to prove he’s the best out there. He got a decision against a 40 yr old champ without landing a punch, and he out boxed a dubious champ having had to pick himself up off the floor. He’s a heavyweight and a ‘fighting man’ ffs.., when he’s stopped the likes of Wilder, AJ and Ruiz I’ll give him credit. But then he’ll need to get in a ring with them first. Who’s the cash cow now ??
  24. Ed Stafford done a docu-series about this recently. Total eye opener for me. Not saying beggars in the street don’t have problems and deserve to be helped, but none are hungry. For many, throwing a couple of quid into a paper cup just enables them to continue living that life. They need less cash and much more support to rejoin the rat race the rest of us run. Reality is that most have simply opted not to.
