You’re in good company here if you’re a bit mental. Think I feel the same way as you a lot of the time, but really it’s the world gone mad, not me ? My advice is to stay away from the news. I caught the start last night.., something about a murdering necrophile.., I just switched off. It’s not that I don’t care, but the bad news and negativity we get saturated with every day could drown a man. Anyway, did Pheobe’s teeth ever turn up?

Not now, she chucked it for a seat in the other house. The new tory leader is a fanny though, which is the same thing. He might be able to weigh in, especially if the beavers are offside.

Seen signs of them all over the Tay system.., and a few other places. Think if estates etc. have problems with them, they’d could be dealt with pretty easily and discreetly. They’re not going anywhere soon though, and I think will become far more numerous without control soon.

Wtf is going on? Still loads of green leaves on the trees up here, and I found an active wasps nest in the garden this morning when I was doing a bit of tidying up. Seems like Autumn getting later and Spring earlier. Soon winter will be reduced to a fortnight in February.

My advice for what it’s worth, if you’re drinking, then stop. Booze is fuel for depression. It doesn’t drown sorrows, but it will drown you in them. Edited to add, all the best mate.

I have no skin in this game btw. Been rumbling on for years. Lawyers jumped on it now and going after the football club for compensation. Bottom line for me is that football clubs don’t rape kids.., it’s people that do that. ‘Fining’ or awarding damages from a club for the deeds of people who worked there 4 decades ago just takes money out of the pockets of the supporters who fill the stands now, investors, the staff who work there etc. Those people have done nothing wrong, so why should they be made to pay? It doesn’t hurt the perpetrator so in my book isn’t justice for anyone, and simply cre

Oh dear. When did Belgium leave the EU? As an aside…, there was a bit of ‘panic buying’ of fuel up here for a few hours two weeks past Friday, which subsided when a handful of nutters had all filled up. WTAF is going on in the South?

I take my hat off the this guy.., 119 days to row solo across the Atlantic. The final push to make landfall was a 40 hour slog which in itself would have broken most men. Lad I worked with (also an ex-RM) was regularly posting about his progress. It looked every bit as gruelling as you’d expect. The mental strength and determination of this guy must be off the scale. Sport, like society in general, needs to get busy making a few choices on this stuff. The very essence of sport is equality…, creating a level playing field to enable competition. These rules are well established.., think football leagues, boxing weight classes etc., etc. Dismantling that to appease a very small minority of people who have no respect for your sport, just so as not to appear prejudiced and open yourself up to criticism, is fcuking suicide imho.

Was watching Only Fools just this morning, the gween, gween gwass episode. Iconic show blessed with a great cast, and wouldn’t have been the same without Challis as Boycie. If I ever hear the name ‘Marlene’.., my brain instantly repeats it in Boycie’s drawling version ? Made his mark. RIP
