That’s my point though. The ‘rules’ allow a car trailing by 8 or 9 seconds, to get right on the rear wheel of the leader, and onto tyres which will see him easily win a one lap race. The rules are sh!te imo. And I’d be saying the same if it was Hamilton gaining advantage over Verstappen.

Take your point, but it was though. A VSC and Hamilton wins. For me a SC, all track positions should be maintained and if tyres must be changed, a stop/go taken equivalent to the advantage gained on SC pace v race pace. Too many times some back marker colliding with an opponent or a barrier decides the podium places, and so it becomes a lottery.

Hamilton is a dick, but didn’t deserve to lose that win today. He was the quicker driver and the safety car ‘rules’ decided the title.., which is just sh!te in my opinion. There should be no tyre changes or advantage gained in a safety car situation. F1 need to sort that out, because that was a fcukin shambles today.

‘Blow’ on Netflix. Hadn’t seen this in 20 years so gave it another go. Johnny Depp plays an American drug smuggler back in the early days of Escobar etc. Read that George Jung (Depp’s character) died earlier this year. Worth a watch…, maybe a 6.5/10

Had a look in earlier and was a bit surprised there wasn’t the expected ‘Lest we forget’ thread going. Can’t say I was disappointed though, and I certainly didn’t get the urge to start a thread. I think many people like me still remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice for us all, with a moment of quiet contemplation, and the wearing of a poppy.

You’re in good company here if you’re a bit mental. Think I feel the same way as you a lot of the time, but really it’s the world gone mad, not me ? My advice is to stay away from the news. I caught the start last night.., something about a murdering necrophile.., I just switched off. It’s not that I don’t care, but the bad news and negativity we get saturated with every day could drown a man. Anyway, did Pheobe’s teeth ever turn up?

Not now, she chucked it for a seat in the other house. The new tory leader is a fanny though, which is the same thing. He might be able to weigh in, especially if the beavers are offside.

Seen signs of them all over the Tay system.., and a few other places. Think if estates etc. have problems with them, they’d could be dealt with pretty easily and discreetly. They’re not going anywhere soon though, and I think will become far more numerous without control soon.

Wtf is going on? Still loads of green leaves on the trees up here, and I found an active wasps nest in the garden this morning when I was doing a bit of tidying up. Seems like Autumn getting later and Spring earlier. Soon winter will be reduced to a fortnight in February.

My advice for what it’s worth, if you’re drinking, then stop. Booze is fuel for depression. It doesn’t drown sorrows, but it will drown you in them. Edited to add, all the best mate.
