Bit ‘sensationalist’ that article, no surprise, as no kids going up the high school this year (like my youngest) are unable to read due to home schooling (or the lack of) due to Covid. It is a fact that some parents have so little education they struggle to support even their primary school age kids. My missus works at a Primary school, and says that they’ve given them laptops, tablets etc., but some parents can’t even turn the things on. Didn’t know Socks ran a boot camp for kids? Gore and death are part of everyday life granted, but the type of voyeurism and taking pleasure in it is what I find disturbing. I’d have a bit of fun with it no doubt, and make sure my nearest and dearest didn’t have to worry about money again and experienced a bit of luxury. I’m ‘only’ 49, not sure I’m ready for a retirement lifestyle. The thing I’ve always thought I would do if my numbers came up is set up some kind of ‘second chance’ thing for young offenders, to get them on the ‘straight and narrow’. I reckon in every generation millions of capable and resourceful young folks, who through no fault of their own are brought up in shitty environments, live a life of unfulfilled potential. If it’s the one I’m thinking of, didn’t he stream it live on Facebook, then it was subsequently uploaded to various platforms, including TikTok where millions of kids were able to see it? The internet is a great thing, but there are times when I wish it had never been invented.

Always liked Frampton, seems like an honest to goodness wee fella. Best days are behind him though, so I’d like to see him get a couple more decent pay days and gtf out of it. Easiest thing in the world to say what you’d do, but would you actually? I think, like in any sticky situation, I’d weigh up the odds based on what I thought would be the worst outcome. Don’t think Hamilton won the race today any more than Verstappen lost it. It was won and lost on tyre wear, and strategy decided by the team’s race engineers. Made for an exciting finish all the same. The Red Bull under Verstappen looked at least a match for Merecedes, so hopefully we’ll see a proper title race involving different constructers for the first time in many a year.

No.9 reason 9/11 hijack was fake “no autopsies on the hijackers”. That’s not even worthy of a comment. Got as far as No.8 “5, 6 or 7” of the alleged hijackers are alive and well, and living in the middle East “they’ve even been interviewed by the BBC”. Where’s the proof that happened? Based on previous plane hijacks, none of the passengers would have suspected what would happen next, so yes, absolutely I think it’s what happened. Until 9/11 I think most people who found themselves in a hijack situation in mid-air, especially if they were told there was a bomb on-board, would be utterly compliant.

I think some on here smoke way too much weed. To me there’s a big difference between trusting the government (or the vast majority of the greedy self-serving pigs involved in politics), and believing some of these crackpot theories on 9/11, covid etc.
