  1. What`s the calibre S.A.M ? Nice shooting by the way
  2. Check out Gunstar Merlin, there was a webley fx 2000 (1 only) in .177 and an RWS Excalibre in .22 though for sale. Good luck.
  3. Fence wants painting - shooting BB
  4. So, "The proof is in the pudding" eh ? Nice bit of shooting there Mitch - when all these AA fields are used up i will be trying the Express out for sure . By the way mate any of the wood pigeon shots "heart, lung" and if so how did the 7.9 grain fare ? atb.
  5. I sometimes have a scream of a laugh with my range finder depending on the local youth driver "D=ck Heads". At the side of one of my permissions is a straight and long country road with a 40 mph limit on it that the D=ck heads abuse big style 24/7, It is so, so funny watching the brakes screeeeeech on and their expression when i discretely stand out of the tree line and view the w=nkers through the range finder and pretend to take their registration "hillarious".
  6. Buying the new gun has you deliberating "which calibre" Rez Good luck with your choice
  7. Why one piece mounts Bob ? Make sure you get "Sports Match mounts" with the stud retainer and they are going " nowhere"
  8. To be honest this is very you Mac... In fact I'd say they made this only for you. Yeah ! in .177.
  9. Took the words from me Mitch, - an Ultra SE (.177) is absolutely outstanding and in my humble opinion 2nd "just" to the 100`s and half the price but if cost is not considered go 100`s (for me).
  10. Any of the HW 100`s. It is no coincidence that most shooters own or have owned one . They have a magazine that is bomb proof, their accuracy is incredible and it is rare to hear of one letting the owner down. HW 100 in the format of your choice (by a country mile)
  11. atvbmac  Aye mate when you take your rabbits one after another, after another and another with the Gat 100 kt .177 cork rifle( no string ) you will "finally" realise my "singing and dancing " about these rifles. - .177 my good mate at night - (in my most humble opinion) X
  12. A couple of dead corvid decoys on cradles wouldn`t half spice things up a bit, especially with some intestines and carcasses about them. Corvids also seem to "reassure" other wildlife that the coast is clear, i always use them. Freeze the rabbit skin/ head and guts mate - fantastic attractant for corvid shooting !
  13. Well done lads - proper shooting with proper rifles
  14. Shooting jjm The crow would be a shot to remember i think atb
  15. Lovely looking rifle mate . I know hunting gets in your blood mate but pictures of Hares, or rabbits on your bed sheets atb
  16. You now own a great rifle What calibre/ format is it ?
  17. Shooting Smecky , well done, i just love shooting bandits. You`ve done that permission a " world of good" getting rid of them.
  18. Aye up Jason, Yes mate the plastic crap for half an hour, (horse shoe method) then as i shot a few i went onto dead pigeons on cradles, - far, far better. I`m thinking of doing a dawn to dusk session with the HW 100 kt one week and then same again the following week with the T Rex if i can fit work around crop cutting . I`ve saved and frozen 6 fully feathered woodies and the corvid for the next session.
  19. Long time since i saw game hung up outside a butchers shop but it was bought quickly by Joe public and obviously still is - good on you lads !
  20. Nice shooting lads By the time you`ve eaten that lot the others will have bred again
