  1. Erm, why is there a date of 28/02/07 on the photo ? Is this a venture out of some 8 yrs ago ? (only asking).
  2. I`m still using AA Fields in both of my 100`s and the T-Rex. Very accurate and very hard hitting. Welcome to the forums Gary atb
  3. Good stuff Cogs On a future session , Magpie on a cradle, squirrel, guts out beneath it , fantastic corvid lure , with you at the ready in a good, natural hide.
  4. A HW 100 Karbine Thumbhole Laminate Adjustable (HW 100 KLA) is my next choice "maybe" but my HW 100 kt basic is performing extremely well, so i think "why fix things that aren`t broke" ? Good luck with your choice Mitch, did you give the 100 KLA a thought ? Lads the average trade in is an extra £400 on top, for HW basic against a HW 100 KLA atb

  6. Shooting Rez . Pro Sport chucking out 10.5 ft/lbs in the "proper man`s calibre" of .177 ?
  7. If Daystate seriously employs Weihrauch`s approach to the air gun industry then "we would be talking serious business"and sales Until then Daystate will always be "Following Others"- simple.
  8. Hi Jono, welcome to the forums . S410 - great rifle ! 52 meters, forgive me mate- get closer, be "totally sure". Get your thoughts around some fieldcraft. Great start jono.
  9. Well i`m old school Random but saying that - "it works" ! You won`t see another corvid any where near that barn, now, with that sod hanging there.
  10. Proper shooting - well done lads.
  11. Just got in with a big satisfied smile on my face . My farmer mate asked me could i try and get a very elusive large crow that is frightening the new, very young Turkeys stupid. Apparently, when scared, young turkeys will huddle up in a corner so much so that it is quite common for one or more to be suffocated and this happened yesterday morning. This large corvid was seen to land on the roof of the small barn, peer in through the roof vents above the turkey pen and drive them wild with its cawing. I threw a double helping of camo netting over a n
  12. Your getting mixed up Chris, Mac is not wearing the red cap !
  13. To be honest Mac/ Lads i wouldn`t bother too much over a shotgun. I`ve owned shotguns for over 35 years but "always" prefer to use airguns,- much more skill and field craft involved . Out in the field with the shotgun and "BOOM" !!! - the fields go empty. With the air rifle, nobody knows you are there, silently waiting , but saying that shotguns certainly have their uses.
  14. .22 !--- .22 ! heh! heh! looks lovely mate - much better looking than the "scruffy garden". P.S Don`t forget to take the the price tag off "before" you take her out twat

  16. Habitually to the point of "striking a match". I won`t accept less ! PCP or Springer, period ! Good, positive post Bunny
  17. Proper Grand Dad Mac - who taught the lad to shoot so well by the way ? atb
  18. Try elderberry, blackberry, sloe wine - blows your socks off at 14%+
  19. Hi Ross, The lads on here know their stuff, all that`s been said is good advice . Main things to pick up on, - your budget, BSA Ultra, Springers namely HW 97`s, AA Pro Sport and the AA TX 200 HC. I would go springer if i were you, to restart your interest and "hone" your marksmanship. Then pcp afterwards. I would lean towards any of the HW`s or Air Arms springers, whichever suits you best. Good luck with your choice
  20. Mitch, the rabbits,- in your photo, can i have them back now ?
