  1. Looking back all those years it has to be that plastic stocked Crossman pump up, i`d much rather go out with a catapult, it was shockingly shite. I remember putting about 6 bb`s at a time in her and shooting close range starlings with it, the bb`s bounced off !
  2. Any HW or Air Arms springer or pcp, that suits you. Welcome to THL Colin Ditto to Rez - any particular reason why .177 ?
  3. oops New York in 2 weeks time i`ve just read - so Spain is it ?
  4. He`ll be in all the gun shops you know . He`s in New York by the way. ( the twat)
  5. I remember a few months back stating on here that i was using a HW 100 .177 to hit target numbers and letters rather than the bull at my range and a certain person( ) was having none of it. That person shoots the HW 100 kt .177 regularly now with great success. Accurate is not a strong enough word for the 100`s. By the way, shooting Dave
  6. Dead right Charlie The worst gun shop tool i "EVER" spoke to was the owners son at Target Sports, Bolton, - thick as concrete and tighter than a submarine door. I soon realized why there was a line waiting to speak to a very knowledgeable assistant.
  7. I forgot nowt Dave, i looked like a walking bush but as you say - it works !
  8. The salesmanship of this fellow needs fine tuning and he would sell a lot more guns. Never ever be bias to calibre when selling guns -(girlie calibre,- silly lad ) Is it cold in that shop ? the hat ? This young man`s manner would put me off buying (from him) but i do hear Blackpool Airguns are an excellent shop. atb
  9. Rabbits are in the post mate, i`ve sent 5.
  10. Hope your first R 10 was mk 1- the R 10 MK 2 is a very good rifle, - the mk1 completely ironed out of all it`s faults, or so i`m told .
  11. Yes mac, seen that and hate it with a vengeance, the corvids can be so, so cruel with their habits.
  12. Seriously thinking of trying something new for the winter months, maybe summer months too. I have for years built traditional permanent hides as i`m pretty much old school but i get good results - "usually" ish. Anyways a very good air gun hunter mate of 40 + years is having great results with a fraction of the work and i`m being prompted to follow suit "forgive the pun". Paul bought a Seeland leaf suit a year or so back, and simply sets up these days when he seeks out a spot to shoot and he is getting the same results as old school hides. So i fancy a
  13. Mac, have you tried .177 in pcp before , - can`t remember if you had ? atb
  14. If it helps Mac, Between pro sport, T Rex and 97 is the width of a hair but "gun fit" between the three is quite different (for me). I`m 17 st,( no belly ). have all the women chasing me (honest ) and the T Rex fits like a glove. Your a big strong boy too Mac , granted "not as handsome" but the T Rex fit might be for you. Pro sport is for a lesser build, skinny type - see what Rez says ? HW 97 is a if it fits - it fits commoners gun, ask VM. atb
  15. RWS LR-25 is a close relative i believe ?

  17. Looks like a medieval harp short of strings, pass me my rifle.
  18. Hi VW, The lads at my ranges, your ranges, every one elses ranges are all a true reflection of each other and ALL say HW 100`s, period ! Those that bought .177 say - i wish i had done this years ago, inc` myself. The .22 HW ks i own is hardly used. The HW 100 kt .177 is never in the cabinet, it`s always in the field or at the ranges. Hope it helps any
