  1. I think he was more getting at keeping her company as ferrets are social animals and don’t like to be on their own really. Its great you got the daughter involved, good to see young uns still interacting with animals than Xbox or play station, and good for the ferret as well, but what about the other 22hrs a day. with regards rabbit numbers, they have been nothing like they used to be for years around here, yeah sure we have small pockets with a few on still, but when I was a lad I had days where we had over 100 with a few ferrets, it would take ten or fifteen days out to get
  2. Yep, it’s illegal to move pigs from your registered holding without first filling in a movement licence via eAML2 you have to be registered to keep them you have to have a cph (county parish holding number) you have to have a herd Mark. all pigs have to have identification when you move them, usually a tag, tattoo or slap mark, eAml has to know every pig you have, and every movement on or off the place you have to keep records of any pigs born on the place. basicly they want to know everything, so how these god damn idiots get away with it is beyond me, if I
  3. What your all missing with the speed limits dropping and nothing to be seen, ...they are slowing the traffic down miles from either an incident, accident, obstruction or jam, and the reasoning behind it is stop loads of traffic pilling in at 70 and causing more gridlock. It does work, we just can’t see it from the drivers seat. and of course to fine those not paying attention and make a few bucks, simple answer to that is you should be paying attention.
  4. Cheers Meece, I would much rather send the link for the demonstration, mates will think I’ve lost the plot if I send them that one ?
  5. Where did you find this ? I’ve a lot of friends I would like to send the link to, am sure a good few would like to go to this.
  6. I’m not buying that amount, and at £20 per tin I reckon I will wait until I see them on the shelf someplace.
  7. Sounds promising, where did you get them, might have to try a tin.
  8. If I had a quid for every headshot Fox I’ve seen with a .22 that dropped on the spot, I’ve never heard of a ricochet off the skull, but I’ve seen many with a hole straight in. .17 is plenty man enough at sensible distances, will you be lamping, thermal, nv ? I would say anywhere in the chest, bib or head will drop them, you’ve got to be confident in the gun and the round, and able to hit them.
  9. I was looking at the hades in my local shop a few days ago, looking forward to your results, I’ve yet to find anything to match the jsb yet though.
  10. I think fair play to them if they actually want to make their own way in life, but... they should make a clean break, that means giving up the title, the entitlement to the establishment and all its gains, all financial ties included, no refurbished house to come back to as and when, no private flights, no protection, nothing funded by the taxpayer. youe either a royal and in the club, or your not. from what I have read they want the best of both worlds, apparently already laying down what they want, what they will and won’t do, that’s just wrong, I believe they should be enti
  11. The problem I have found is the trigger time is usually too slow, I’ve got the back end of a few motors going through places they shouldn’t be, need a quick trigger time and no red lights to give the position away.
  12. Nah, I work till late and always after dark and can’t be without some decent light, so a spare one in the truck and one on the quad is just the ticket. your right, I might be scared of the dark as well ?
  13. Depends how much you want to spend arry. i have an led lenser mh10, 600 lumens on high and 150mtr spot beam on it, its about 4 year old and never missed a beat, it’s that good I’ve just ordered a spare one £66 quid. i have also just ordered the led lenser h14.2 that’s 1000 lumens and supposed to be 300m beam but was almost £90 i prefer to have a good make as they come with a massive warranty (think it was 7 yrs). edit to add, I like they run 18650 batteries same as all my torches, an last ten hours on max setting, think it’s about 120 hrs on low setting

Depend what you mean by commercial insurance, I have a business fleet policy and I can add virtually anything, to the point I have an agri registered quad on it as well as cars
  15. An excellent read and full marks for everything, looks like the trip of a lifetime. how much do the trophies cost to get done and shipped back. stunning country and one I wish to visit eventually.
  16. ‘’Known to have a history of mental illness’’
  17. To dispel a few myths. if you have been arrested, and even charged for that matter, but found NOT guilty, or case dismissed etc etc, then you do NOT have a criminal record. A criminal record is when you have been found GUILTY of said charge/s. if you accepted a caution that is classed as a conviction, the same as pleading guilty to a charge. however, for the record, the licencing team will look at it still as they will know what arrests you have had, and they will look into the reasons behind them, they will then use ‘’public safety’’ as a reason to decline if they feel to
  18. You already know you only gotta pick up the phone mate..........
  19. No problem fella, was a couple of days R+R for me. i don’t forget when someone helps me, it’s nice to be able to return the favour.
  20. No, I have to disagree, I’ve got maybe 50 or 60, and they are the last chickens to go in when it rains, all my ‘’true’’ breeds are the first in the house when it starts, and I certainly don’t have a higher mortality rate because of it, The first month or so is important until they have hardened up a little, depending on time of year and just how bad they are when you get them, they soon feather up, and after the first mould they look no different to any other hen.
  21. My mate runs kennels for a rescue and he has two containers. however, he has insulated and boarded them out inside, underfloor heating that is tiled over, lighting, ventilation, the works, all done by himself and reckons it was cheaper by far than his purpose build timber kennels, I don’t think he has any problems with his set up as he is talking of doing more of them.
  22. I know a few, what you got for them

    RIP BELLAMY

Another good one gone R I P fella. i read something about him saying keepers were the best teachers and he learnt so much from them.
  24. Nfu offered me insurance, which I declined due to cost. i had an excellent quote from bikesure, but when I went to take them up it all changed, so I went through my business broker in the end and it’s been put on my work fleet policy, not allowed any s,d+p but that don’t bother me as only use it for work. socks, £80 a yr is a good price, what’s the cover, excess and restrictions as mine is up for renewal in January I think and they quoted me nearly £400 from memory
