  1. It’s easy to do, provided it came with the right paperwork, I done mine a couple years back and they needed a certain number to show it had been made to a certain standard, can’t remember what it was but with the vin plate number it was on a register and cost £100 and I had the logbook back in 8 days all done.
  2. How the f**k did they manage to patch that up so well.

    Boots

I personally would avoid the haix boots, I tried two pairs after been recommended them and found them uncomfortable as hell, my old work boots were much better ? Ended up giving them away. i splashed out and bought a pair of Lowa, best boots ive ever owned so far, so much So I just got another pair.
  4. Keeper mate of mine has had two as pets over the years, total respect for the fox as a species, even though I despatch hundreds each year, you have to admire them for their cunning and adaptive ness, My keeper mate shot every one they saw on the shoot, but those two came as very small cubs and lived with 14 dogs, darn thing acted just like one of them and used to greet you at the gate amongst the pack, did a double take first time I saw it happen, but they also had a couple of roe deer that lived with them for a few years until they disappeared, was like visiting a wildlife park, and tha

  8. Cheers for the kind words Phil, but mine has sold, I thought I had marked the ad,
  9. What’s the usable range on them, I’m looking for something to go on 223 for ? sorry for the hijack Deano, but this pooped up as I was looking at them.
  10. Excellent write up on an epic session. i forgot just how fantastic a fish they were, and lovely markings on it, well done.
  11. I’ve got a very good mate of mine who looks like a shrimp, about 5 ft at most, about 8 stone wet through with waders on,, almost see through. Nicest quietest bloke you could ever wish to meet that will do anything to help you out. we were out one night a big burly lad starting giving him some grief, we knew to just sit and be bystanders, see this little lad has a bit of history. This big fella is mouthing off and squaring him away and had him backed upto a door, he went to grab my mate, he didn’t even see the single rabbit punch that broke his nose, split his face open, and wit

Sorry bud, it’s on hold as per the advert.
  13. Ya need to stand your ground and man up to them, tell them your well respected on THL an your not gonna budge an inch, call their bluff ??
  14. Agreed, they do all the legwork, hey are the ones that see you face to face, they give a recommendation one way or tother, licencing officers listen to that recommendation, and more often than not they go with what’s said. our new one (After a reshuffle) is a good one, proper shooting man, sensible, understands what language your talking, knows calibres, can’t fault him.
  15. I didn’t find that, I was real suprised how quiet they were
  16. I spent a few hours on Monday tasting 22 fodder through my Cz, I tried both the ones you mention and found the 38gr Possibly slightly better than the 40 but not much between the two. what I did find was the Hornady 40gr varmint express out performed everything else by a country mile
  17. It’s all bull. As you already have 22-250 you have passed most of the criteria for holding one, suitability, safety etc etc, the only further requirement to move onto a 243 is ‘good reason’. there is a short cut, but it’s expensive, join a deer syndicate, a1 decoy offer one for £750, it gives over 100 000 acres to your disposal for every deer species in the uk, land mostly cleared to 375. that's all you have to give them, good reason to own said Calibre, sure they like the mentor idea, they love the dsc paperwork, but none of it is a requirement, all of them will help you thou
  18. If you throw in a pack of chocolate biscuits I will consider it ? and I mean Mcvities, none of those value shit things
  19. View Advert Taipan .22 Took this as a px a couple years back and I just don’t use it. has held a full charge all the time it’s been in cabinet, put a few mags through it yesterday and it shoots well (considering I don’t know which pellet it really likes) short, printable, well balanced, quiet, consistent and accurate, what more could you want. £750 collected from Bedford.. Advertiser Rabid Date 18/10/20 Price
  20. I’ve been sorting through a few cupboards, and Christ have got stuff everywhere. so far I have found at least 5, possibly 6 rifles that need to go, 6 scopes bipods tins tins and tins of pellets. spare mags targets of all shapes, sizes and designs. i was just amazed how much was tucked way, so looks like I will be having a big sell up in the near future. surely it’s not just me who collects stuff.
  21. View Advert Bsa ultra se .22 Selling this cracking little gun as I just dont use it and it sits in the cabinet. bsa ultra, se version not the silly mmc cocking version, just taken out the cabinet in 12-18 months and still got the charge in. i run this over a chrono when I bought it and It had a spread of 6fps over 35 shots. consistent and accurate. It was a regular rabbit gun for a couple of Years, it does have some marks on it as per pics, nothing shocking, it s work tool, and a very good one. will include one red mag, and the f
  22. Personal thing, it just doesn’t feel right, mechanically is fine.
  23. There is no necessity to launch the cases into the next county. Look at it as a fourth shot if he misses with the first 3 ? I have a little kofs 410 And that will send the spent carts 10 yards behind me, real annoying looking for them whilst out in the rough.
