  1. I know a nice little spot for bass from the shore, but conditions and tide have to be just perfect, and can only be fished for about 3 hrs or so till the tide changes, if you fancy it....... drop me a pm, where in Sussex are you ? the offer of a boat trip still stands when I get back in the water.
  2. Your joking, I have a gx2 sat here doing nothing ? 'Get yourself on the wrecks, or some livebaiting or lures for bass, you'd love it.
  3. Which ugly did you buy, I've got a stack of ugly sea rods, and one lure rod as well. may sell all my coarse gear, I just don't bother with it, will concentrate more on salt. will give you a shout when the boat goes back in. You may like catching something you can eat ?

They seem to love it don't they, my old girl gets in front and won't move away no matter how hot she gets, she will lay there and growl at it, but not budge, my dogs take it in turns to have the hot seat, until she gets it and that's it.

Seems to be a pattern forming here ?
  6. Is that a hint ? Ive got so much work to get done on the boat and so little time, I wouldn't bank on it been this year ? Been sorting my lure gear out, forgot how much I had.
  7. Good advice, and nail, head and hit, springs to mind
  8. They are all in demand at the moment, tracked excavator, forward and rear tip dumpers, blades, graders, you name it, if I had the choice of only one over everything else, it would be tracked excavator, none of the others work without the excavators..... However, it depends on where your heart is, what you looking at going into, some good money for blades on road work, good money for graders as well, but track exc not so good. every man and his dog has track tickets, myself included, but it's my bread and butter work so I don't mind the input to keep them, where as my blade ticket run
  9. I'd just be happy if I get my boat finished and able to go fishing, catching is a by product ?
  10. Glad you had a spine and didn't let a wee draught from stopping you doing what was needed, good write up, cheers for sharing, makes me sound a bit more normal as that's my sort of luck.
  11. It's already landfill mate, trouble is it's spilling out into the rest of the country now !
  12. Oh don't, we had a load tipped in a gateway, found receipts with names and addresses, reported it like good boys, the guy is implicated in 14 cases ongoing at present, and it seems like nothing is going to happen.
  13. Don't talk to me about rubbish, we've already covered that one and no one likes it.
  14. Just to add a little, I hate fly tippers, I also hate litter louts, both are a major pet hate of mine, have cleaned far to many gateways up from lazy ba**ards. and why can we only use one reaction per post ?? Some of these are funny, and likeable all in one post.
  15. Yeah whatever, I look forward to hearing from them ?
  16. Instead of pulling the part of the quote you like, try reading the whole thing, just to remind you, it said, ''when I can't be bothered'' it also said ''they usually end up as fox bait'' No where did it say business waste is dumped in the countryside !!! You can't even quote it correctly, for the record it said ''I process A lot of chickens'' and as for any more than x amount is classed as commercial, bollocks, there is no such law, rule of thumb, or general consensus, but hey ho, you don't even know how many I have or process a year. Grass me to the fs
  17. You do like making things up don't you, show me where I said anything about 'dumping' business waste in the countryside ? f**k off back under your rock
  18. nope, don't have to do that either.
  19. I run a business not a charity.
  20. Interesting you guys talk about chicken carcass, I process a lot of chickens, and when I can't be bothered I just breast and thigh them, often looked at the carcass and wondered what I could do with them, they usually end up as fox bait, may have to look into this a bit further if there could ea market for them.
  21. Me and thee are gonna be having words if you keep telling every fecker my business, next thing you know all them townie twats will be out poaching clover !
  22. Clover is a crop, just like wheat, barley, osr or any other, if the pigeons eat it all, what are the stock meant to eat.
  23. That's the exact problem we're having, hammering the clover in the grass.

I shoot a few different cals as well, and I've tried .177, and yes of course it's more than capable of the job, I just don't like them, and especially don't like my big clumsy fingers trying to load them into mags.
