    We do hang some up on the more discreet bits of cover , we use a a hazel stem , fishing line tied to one of its feet so it hangs upside down and floats about , no need to open them up it works quite well for a time ..the black cloud consists of about 3 or 4 thousand but they are gone as soon as the shooting starts and tend to drift back a few at a time every half hour or so .Got two or three ladder traps under construction to try and make some inroads , trouble with them is keeping people away from them ..

    After seeing a black cloud destroy two big cover crops we set about extracting revenge ! One gun on the redrilled crop , one in the pen and another on a crossing point the plan had failure written all over it ?, and so it proved to be , the first couple of hours we managed about 40 but it petered out when the black hoard just sat in a belt of high firs and waited out our feeble effort to thin them out ..we retreated ..finishing on about 65 picked with another 10 missing presumed killed in action .. Plan two ..just two of us after struggling to find guns , one in the high firs , one in the pen

    Same as , light , wide with a bit of stretch in them very comfortable and non slip ..not cheap but well worth the dollar

    Used a 410 for the first time in years the other week when I was crow shooting , the fella I was shooting for asked me not to start with the 12 till seven am but I could use his silenced pump action 410 for the first couple of hours if I wanted , started of letting them come right in before shooting but when a pair come in and the first one folded I just swung on the second , after remembering to chamber another round unlike the several cock ups before hand , and was surprised how far they are effective ..well done on your outing U ..

    Bit of rain and everything is going at a rate , even managed to get some peas in the freezer , first beets pickled , got some honey coloured ones to do this week never tried them before but they have grown a treat ..sweet corn is growing at a pace .Touch wood not had to much trouble with bugs and disease ...bet I've just jinxed it ..

    Can't think of a major gun company making sporting rifles , there are the top end made to order firms still going , boss , purdey etc just about every thing else is bought in ..someone may come along to prove me wrong but of the top of my head can't think of one , bsa only make air weapons now I believe ..

    It's not the gun that's a problem it's the people behind it , last weekend here in London four people stabbed to death all separate incidents , another one I think on Tuesday or Wednesday it's not all calm on the streets here .Thats with out the nutcases with motors and knives ... Wolf a pal of mine was telling me your over run with hogs over there , is that so ? Is there open season on them .?

    Shouldn't make any difference two other people on the same land , you will be restricted to the permission granted , subsequent land will need to be cleared by your firearms dept until you get an open ticket usually after your first renewal but can be much quicker depending on use and land available to shoot over ..

    Not forgetting we have large testicles that every body likes to kick ! be it cars , guns , clothes you name it we get kicked squarely up the gonads for it ..we are the perverble cash cow ..I recently bought from the states a new gambrel and hoist my pal bought it back , it was about $14 , the same one here was £36 ...
