Had another go this morning at the black birds , finished the morning with about 23 , picked up a dozen the rest fell out in the wheat and were left ..plus 1 pigeon ..needed another couple of guns out really to keep them moving . It was only the carrion crows that decoyed in the jackdaws and rooks were having none of it ..

Mine turned out like they had been nuked but grated in a bit of salad they tasted excellent ..were they plugs or grown from seed ? ...Grown from seed. In a nice deep top soil/compost mix. Raised bedJok.....?????????? ?.........?

We have got hundreds apon hundreds along with thousands of there black cousins, they start of decoying fairly easily but soon wise up , one or two shots and they are gone . The pheasants are out to wood so there's plenty of food , the ducks have just gone out which means more food not to mention the cover crops which they have fcuking wrecked ...I've been chasing them for weeks ..

Harvest time ..looking good T . My peas this year were the best I've managed ( keeping the other half away from them helped a lot ?) even got to freeze a few bags . Onions faired pretty well , really made an effort to space them right so I could weed properly
