    wont be using plugs for carrots next year , Plant just one quarter of the beetroots ive planted this year ( or find more people to take them ) Net the soft fruit I must have feed every bird in Sussex I'm doing more of them. Just planted another row. Mrs loves em pickledMe to , but I've got more pickled beetroot than you can shake a stick at ?And there's at least 30 more , what on earth I planted all that for god only knows ..I bought the seed on the tape and never expected everything to grow , but it did ..perhaps just one pack next year although I can't see me eating all this years ..

    Surely you mean 5 , if your including yourself it's down to 4 ......remember it's a good two or three hour run from down here Dave so will need a bit of notice .They started cutting some barley today sadly not on our bit .

    Yep used plugs this year for the first time last two years ive used seed and they were pants , can't be stones you wouldn't be able to fill a tea cup if you turned my whole plot over . Not over watered . Why would plugs cause this as opposed to seed ?

    Picked a few more bits this morning , more stick beans , first toms , pulled a leek to see how there doing looks ok . The sweet corn is growing like a row of triffids but the carrots are shite ..can't grow a carrot definitely not planting any next year they look like a small hand of bananas ?And definitely defiantly not planting as many beetroots I'm already running out of people to give them to ..every thing else is looking good ..

    Stayed with my 1st wife until my daughter was at uni and my son at work , their wasn't any real tension at home , more just flatlining bumping along , going through the motions . Done the holidays etc all the normal family bits but in reality it was probably a waste of ten years , in fact when it happened my ex said she wished I'd done it when the kids were younger to give her some focus and take her mind of it , where as now the kids were of hand and she felt wasted . We were just turned forty , she had never been into buying the house or me being self employed, she would have rather been ren

    A little understated for my liking , needs blinging up a bit perhaps some flashing fairy lights , Swarovski crystal stuck on the black bit , maybe a nice big spoiler stuck on the back and then give it a luminous flock paint job...proper class then ..

    Supposed to had the whole day doing nothing ...but drink coffee and chill out .ended up cutting up 20 sheets of ply for a mate , did a bit in the allotment, got me tractor back of another mate that was definitely dropping it back two days ago so I could cut my grass , that's cut now , cleared out the truck and reloaded the crow shooting kit ready for tomorrow..I'm getting to old for these days off ...

    Can't see any reason for a refusal , stick the paperwork in and take it from there ..think they would be on very thin ice to refuse him because of his brothers given he doesn't live with them ..

    Average about 31/2inch dia ..some a bit bigger some a bit smaller ..the yellow ones have grown even quicker ..

    Had a quick harvest this morning , first of the runners for me , few more broad and French beans more beets ( grown miles to many ) more courgettes ...I'll end up doing what I do most years giving half of it away ?
