    this is about the only thing I will disagree with you on, breeding will only give the majority on the build characteristics you want, the rest is generally down to how it`s brought up, genetics is more about the physique rather than the make up of the brain inside it, when there are certain breeds that don`t conform to that it`s more likely to be too much interbreeding making it a shit choice, get two dogs from the same litter, bring one up to work and the other to be a sofa ornament both will do what they are wanted for but still the same litter Surely genetics is as much about the brain as t

    How you finding the box blight ,Touch wood not got any ... but the frost last night put paid to the berlotto beans , the runners , French beans , courgette and some bedding plants I left out the green house ...p.ssed right of ..IMG_2381.JPG Thats a bugger but plenty of time to get more going though. Just got back from the plot and earthed up me spuds up. My mate said we don't need to worry now but I am not taking chances lol. Never got home till late and missed the weather forecast ..got a few runner bean and berlloto spares in the greenhouse but no more corgette or French beans ..that's

    Thought I'd put up a pic of my small plot , Onions , beets , parsnip, broad beans , French beans , carrots ,asparagus,salads bit of soft fruit , there is a couple of grape vines but they got hammered in the frost . Oh toms cucumber chille in the greenhouse along with bedding plants..edited to add runner and berlotto beans corgette ..

    Your not far out grebb , sellers premium when I was putting brown furniture through our local auction house was at the time 12 1/2 % plus vat on premium , think that's at 15% now, if I remember right that was on items under £3 grand and that dropped to 10% on items over that . Buyers premium is around the 20% mark ..

    Think that is what we had in our Barn last year , looked like the mother of all wasps it was pissed of big time when I sprayed it with the gypa then flattened it with a shoe , made a proper crunching sound on the glass ..

    My old dog scented deer at outrageous distances , if she sat down their was a deer in the vicinity without fail ..she walked with her head just in front of me continually scenting and soon as she scented one she sat down and wouldn't move , can't think how many deer that dog got me .The new dog has come on well this season , sits and stays under the seat , scenting is much improved on her first season and her tracking is spot on ..will she be as good as the old dog ? who knows I'd like to think I could be that lucky ..

    Never go stalking without her , ninety nine times out of a hundred you never need them but just that once it's the tool for the job . I always let her find them anyway and she gets her reward , not forgetting it's a pleasure just having her out . ..
