Do you mean a black coloured brown rat or the genuine black rat? Used to get a few 'shippy's' on the caking warehouses on the docks years ago. The old boy I went with told me there were still some small pockets of 'em in most of the old docks around the country.

Me mum was a cook, though to be fair we never learned much from her until leaving home, which I did age 19. Had to sort meself out and I did, then went back to me mum to add to my learning, love cooking still.... What I have found over the years is that most girls leaving home ain't got a fecking clue, usually with the one signature dish of spag bol or lasanger (an I fecking hate those!). Fewer still want to pick it up either and much prefer conveinence cooking.

I'd just ask the questions, if I was in your boat, did the dog have plenty of road work & excercise before the season started and what type of ground I'd ran it over? That said, different dogs can have all sorts of problems and though i've never owned one, I do know plenty of dogs can have wrist problems. Bull crosses can carry a bit up top with spindly sighthound legs supporting 'em, couple that with a bull in a china shop attitude and problems can arise.

A breed I also like Johnny, had a good 'un once but I'm older an wiser now and I cannot see the point in 'em nor any breed I couldn't get out and work properly. I simply wouldn't keep anything I couldn't use. Id love one if I was in a country where pigdogging was legal, saw one on a topic on here... Lovely animal Even if that was the case Gem I'd probably keep sommat a bit more capable, though just for my love of 'em I might just give one a go, just for the novelty factor...

Always the whippet/terrier crosses posted for folk looking for their first lurcher, if theres one guarantee post on this forum its that one.... Just get yourself an average sized dog from working parents and enjoy....

I've just got back on this morning because of this virus (i think), fecking nightmare all week. Just to say a big thank you to Strong Stuff who helped me for near two hours over the phone till I sorted it out... Nice one mate!!

Anything other than a working lurcher, terrier or one of the mixes that could make up a decent bushing type mutt... I don't see the point in feeding stuff that don't work.
