    If you know of someone selling unrung birds mate I'd steer well clear if I were you.

    They should be correctly rung with an ioa or bbc ring which is not too loose on the leg. Look around for a reputable supplier. If the birds are a mutation variety then that's even better as they are pretty much guaranteed captive bred.

    Mine isn't too bad, he has the odd bark when someone slams a car door or runs past the house but if someone comes down the drive he goes ape shit and if they came through the gate he'd follow it up

    Never had a problem maybe but if/when you do it will be a bad problem. If it kicks off and the lurcher loses its rag them three won't be much of a challenge for it. I've got 2 dogs and a bitch, they will hunt and play together and are fine in the car but I'd never feed or kennel them together. The few scuffles my dogs have had over the years have been over food.

    I'd kennel them seperate if I were you mate especially bitches, seasons can mess with their heads. Is the lurcher a terrier cross too? I've known of people who's bitches after one scrap could never be together again as they hold a grudge.

    Fish shops won't advise you that they will be perfectly happy in a small unfiltered tank. The almond leaves add stuff to the water which the fish like, not sure why they do but it perks the fish up. They also use it in Thailand to harden the fishes scales I think. There's feck all complicated with keeping them, don't overfeed them, don't let the water get too messy and don't stick 2 males together some of the females can be a tad touchy with eachother too but in general can be kept together. Keep them somewhere warmish or put a heater in the tank, keeps them a bit more active. The betta foo

    Makes me laugh how many people are scared of spiders, fair enough if they were the size of a cat but its a tiny little thing that you can kill with a flick. If we were in a country where there's loads of venomous things like Australia then yeah be a bit wary. My missus is scared of loads of stuff (spiders, frogs etc) and I go mad at her in case the littleun picks up on it and becomes bloody soft too.

    My terrier got clamped by my silver hob through the wire on their cage last week when he was sniffing at their partridge and I nearly shit myself the noise he made. I think he's even more wary of them now

    I bought 200 yard of 10z ,, 2.1/8 mesh, cost 65 ish if I remember,, that was including delivery, and vat Did you make purse nets with it tomo or a longnet? I've read its no good for longnets but can't see why not if hemp works. It would make decent stop nets surely?

    In that first pic I would say there's 2 fifes a red factor and a gloster cross. The glosters I've seen are a different shape with heavier feathering and all them seem quite tight feathered?
