We had an 8 once which I doubt will ever happen for us again, got 32 out of the burrow in total which was only a ten holer in the middle of a paddock. The place was like watership down when we first got on and nobody had touched them for years but its shit like everywhere else round here now

Just get a pup off tested whippet sized lurchers and put the time into training it and bringing it on instead of worrying about hardness, feet, stubborness and what ever else you've started non constructive threads about. If its bred off physically sound well behaved parents that put bunnys in the bag that's half the battle won.

Mine clears fences without ever touching the wire but will not jump a gate for anything the funny fecker. Luckily there's not many fences here mainly ditches. He's nearly nacked himself a few times on ditches on the lamp too.

That's the first time I've heard that bollocks regarding their colour denoting their working ability that way round, normally people say the poleys are keener. They could be litter mates and as for sandies if you get a poley out of poley parents and a white off whites and breed them together if they threw a litter of sandies I'd buy a lottery ticket.

I got shut of my shotguns a few years back now, its mider you don't need especially if you ever get found over that boundary fence looking for you dog or something and I would never lower myself to be like all the muppets that suck up to the keeper in the hope of getting a bit of shooting. When I was shooting quite a bit the ferrets and the dogs didn't get as many outings as they should either. The airgun still gets its fair share when the grounds frozen though

its very rare that an adult dog will do any major harm to a pup, put in its place, yes, sometimes even draw blood, yes but major harm, no. pups have an inbuilt defense they squeel like pigs this is the ultimate submision in dog talk. ive always chucked pups in with both older dogs and bitches and had no major issues infact the last one is still in with his sire over 5 years later I know what your saying Paulus and you are right that the pup does squeal like a pig, she only has to have a little growl and tap him with her paw and he runs off squealing. He soon comes running back though. -
What if the 3/4s of whippet is from disobedient whippet? The whippet I had was a tw@ and my terriers have been miles better.
