  1. If you drove the land round here you'd need a jcb to get you off we go up past the doors in tractors regularly.
  2. Them pups the other week round Accrington way would have been ideal for you mate. Probably all gone now.
  3. She's sat tight on 4 today, she might lay another tomorrow but last year she mainly layed 4s. I'll candle them in a week or so to check if their fertile, there's a good chance they aren't but I'm not too fussed. I'd rather the other finches started treading hens tbh.
  4. Unfortunately if you were to go to the trouble of re populating an area that's been bladdered by all the nobheads they would soon re bladder it. I've deliberately avoided a lot of permissions this year due to low numbers and took it easy on the others but the rabbits are breeding now and getting left alone by me.
  5. First egg this morning, I've seen the siskin having a tread of her so hopefully their full
  6. If I can train a cat to jump 5 bar gates I'll be sorted
  7. I'd like to clone a litter of a top class dog (add famous mutts name here) and then give all the clones to a variety of lads and see which make the grade in the end. That way you could test the nature or nurture theory.
  8. When one of mine mucks about with its food it gets to watch one of the others eat it
  9. Your best off with wire floored cages like battery cages for easy cleaning etc but that must be a shit life for the rabbits.
  10. ive got one here i did the same with, a very rabbit looking rock indeed  Same here This dopey fecker of mine has smacked bricks on his way out to rabbits before now. He should have no teeth left the way he's hit stuff but only got 1 chipped canine.
  11. I've chucked some of mine out in the aviary to try and stop them but their still flying round with material trying to build. Got a hen in the shed getting fed and tread by the siskin too. It won't be long now till their all raring to go
  12. You'd be better offering taking your jills to the hobs mate. Good luck with them.
  13. I'd of had to stuck the one that messed about in behind the rabbit just to see what she did that time. What do you feed her on? I know some people feed nothing but dry and say their ferrets are fine at working but if one was iffy then surely knowing that bunnies were edible could give it that kick up the arse it needed?
  14. I use baycox which I relieve the gamekeeper of. There's a few different products which do the same job but I found baycox really easy and they only need it 2 days per month.
  15. I'm glad I'm not old enough to remember that shite
  16. Is it the first time she's broke it? I'd give her a rest and see if it mends ok, seasons practically over anyway.
  17. That's the type I'm on about, 7 years though feck that. Any stock of mine bit for no reason its pts.
  18. Most people say albinos are steadier than polecats?
  19. Try it when another dog has marked the earth and its definitely holding.
  20. How many of us on here have had ferrets with genuine 'issues' that could never be tamed? There's too many bunny huggers on here who's ferrets have never been near a warren that always protest that every ferret can be tamed but that's nonsense. Some are just temperamental regardless off upbringing, feeding, hormones or handling the same as you can get dogs or cats which bite for no reason. The worst I've had was a hob who was really soft at home but an absolute psycho if you tried to pick him up when out hunting.
