    I agree with socks, Is there a number on the back of it? The mk2 looks the same but I'm sure it didn't work with the mk1? Could be wrong though.

    One of my places the ferrets always get the runaround so we tipped in 6 collared up ferrets last time (normally chuck a couple in) and I think its the first time we've emptied it. Got a bit hectic for a while and bolted a couple of rats too which made me a bit hesitant when we started getting a couple of digs but I won't be pissing about with a couple of ferrets in on that ditch again.

    i normaly leave the ones with leaves and stuff around bcuz they look abandend.... (sorry abput spelling:P) there is normaly alot of shit around the holes and there the ones ive been doing with no luck... Give the leafy holes a try mate

    Try the holes that are full of leaves, round our way when the rabbits are playing hard to get that's the holes their in. Holes that are clear with droppings in never seem to hold, do they shit on em like foxes marking an earth in their territory?

    A dog that you like the look and temperament of, obviously not a 3/4 bull 1/4 grey or something heavy like that but as long as its reasonably quick it will catch rabbits. It's all well and good people suggesting different crosses for you but if their suggest big smooth dogs and you like little rough ones or vice versa you'd never be entirely happy with what you purchase, its you that's gotta look at it and care for it at the end of the day.

    One of my sandy permissions none of the tubes go deeper than 3ft, its as though they hit the hard layer and stopped. Another place I've got we ended up digging 6ft and I've known a ferret go off the 15ft locator in a sandy woodland burrow in the flat not a banking.
