  1. "Laguna" whippet, what a wanker of a dog.
  2. Beddy whippet wheaton greyhound x 3/8 bull grey
  3. My russel has both back legs. A lad I know had a terrier with a double dew claw on each back leg that looked like a maggies foot.
  4. I often see Malinois recommended as yard dogs but I don't agree with it TBH, these are serious working dogs that go mental without a real job to do, pacing around in a yard all day just doesn't cut it for them IMO. Collie or cattle dog would be a good fit, alert as anything, noisy and often quite likely to bite too. If he wants something that looks a bit more intimidating a EBT could do the job? Or what about a Kerry Blue? Knew a few nasty fecker Kerrys that were used as yard dogs back in the day... My old mam has a wee SBT/JRT thing as a watchdog, he may be little but he's a great ala
  5. This collie twat of mine has a natural wariness of strangers and I'm fairly sure he'd back it up too, he was worse as a pup and I've discouraged a lot of it out of him. Nobody is getting him out of his pen if I'm not there though and he don't like people near the missus and kids either.

  11. they would mate, a game apbt from good working lines as great stamina for that job in the pit, but as soon as you out x to greyhound you loosing that good stamina . I carnt work it out, because if x to a collie, saluki,Alsatian, deerhound, all breeds with good natural stamina , when x to greyhound the stamina not to bad and these type lurchers have had not bad wind. But put a pit x to greyhound you deff loose stamina compared to the other lurcher xs, feck knows why because as above pits in pure form have good stamina. as said before a bullx with collie or saluki in the mix, wi
  12. I've encountered quite a few dumped cockerels and scabby clapped out hens over the years, dumping any animal is not on. If it's not chickens it's rabbits or cats they dump round here.
  13. So is he still pissing in the house or did the butchery work?
  14. Horrible little shits caused me loads of grief with the aviary, killed 2 mules on me aswell. Flying stoats
  15. A vet won't/shouldn't do it for aesthetics, they will only do it if the dog is constantly injuring it.
  16. Cost me 200 to get the end of my old lurchers tail off, the vet wanted to take it right back like a rotty dock but I talked them out of it. The post op hassle I had though it would have been better shorter.
  17. Is it not a legal requirement to check all traps at least every 24hrs?
