  1. I've seen a few labs try and course hares over the years but there owners have never been as happy as me ?
  2. Nowt, I let her have the control it keeps her quiet. The daughters are in control of it daytime too. If I'm stuck in (like now) I check out a couple of forums and watch YouTube on my phone occasionally looking at the telly when a bit of snatch is on.

  5. At 7 weeks I wouldn't be worried about it. Let him settle in etc and then worry about the lead after he's jabbed and can go out.

When I'm on the brink of losing my rag I used to go off on my tod until I'd calmed down but not now I have daughters they follow me round the house/garden and keep wittering on which ends up making me feel like a caged animal. Soon as I can I'm off out with the dogs to walk it off rather than the old me who would have smashed something when I get midered ?

  9. Can't see any reason why you can't give it them raw, people feed whole rabbits. Freeze it for a couple of weeks first to kill any tapeworm eggs.

  12. Break it or move it on to a sheep free area. All the lads who say pts would you do the same if it grabbed a chicken or a moggie etc?
  13. Someone told me to cut a nail right back one time but I couldn't bring myself to do it and I don't think the dog would have ever let me touch his feet again either.
  14. My old dog used to get it from our peaty soil, a toothbrush is good for getting right in the nail bed and cleaning it out.

  17. Hunting is permitted in Islam but can you eat an animal killed by a dog? Genuinely interested here not bitching.
  18. That's the main thing I've always found, some areas kids have got to scrap it's like survival of the fittest and other "nicer" areas it wasn't a big thing.
