  1. The reason I ask is, I was totally impressed by my friends’ hw45. I shot better with it than any air pistol I’ve ever used. It would be good to see some pictures of targets shot from both pistols. I’ve been pondering an hw45 for a while. The hw44 might be a bit expensive for an air pistol for me? Good as they probably are...?
  2. Credit to you Mark, you’re dedication to ‘olde skool’ airgunning is inspired. ?
  3. How does it compare to the hw45? Power and accuracy wise?
  4. I went in ‘The Airgun Centre’ a couple of years ago. That was surprisingly small. I always imagined it to be a big place. Little shop on a service road, my wife spotted it as we drove past, I hadn’t even noticed it. Still turned back to have a look inside though? most stuff up on the wall behind the counter as well.
  5. Good “stuff” Nathan. What load are you using?
  6. They’ve got some for £2.99 at decathlon, look ok for the money? Flocked crow decoys as well, I bought some shell ones at £2.79 I think. Not tried them yet though.
  7. Good offer. Looks like a mk2 hawk? I had the mk1 with the interchangeable barrels, except I only had one barrel and it kept coming loose?. It was a nice idea in theory. They dropped that idea with the mk2. I wonder why?. That one will make a good rifle for somebody, very generous of you?
  8. Nice write up, good shooting , well done basher ?
  9. Got one on a .22 rimfire 3.5-10x50, good scope, had it for years.
  10. Good shooting bn, well done fella?
  11. I wouldn’t part with my rapid....ever. Proper tool of the air gun world. Superseded now maybe, but an icon all the same?
  12. It’s only a matter of time before these Turkish guns are up there with the other leading brands. They’ve got the latest cnc production machinery, just maybe lacking attention to detail, quality of fixings etc, that aren’t up to the same standards of some of the more well known manufacturers. Just like the British laughed at Japanese motorcycles in the 1960’s, then blew their beeza up trying to keep up with somebody on a new jap crap Suzuki , they’re up and coming.?
  13. Should be good in fac with the shot count and power adjuster.
  14. That 40 grain sub still carries around 70-80ft lb at 100 yards. That’s about 80% of it’s muzzle energy, so it’s down to shot placement as said. It has the energy for sure.
  15. Despite rain in the night, it was still like trying to sleep in an oven???
