    If anyone’s interested, I decided to pattern and compare .22 and 9mm flobert shotshells. Using my 14 inch Anschütz, I shot a .22 Winchester superX #12 shot at a rat target at five yards to see if it would likely be effective at that range. To compare using my 24 inch Manu-Arm bolt action, I shot 9mm fiocchi #6 shot at the same range, and 9mm rws acorn brand #10 at the same range. I went on to extend the range of the 9mm flobert’s at ten, fifteen and twenty yards for comparison. Here’s the results.....

    My cz was 22:1/2 inch and I had it cut to 15 inch. Best thing I did with it, no loss in accuracy and only 70fps lost in mv. LEI mod is small and very effective. Keeps the mice mice on their toes?

    I’ve never seen one of these in the flesh, but I thought they looked interesting. I wondered if anybody on here has any experience of them. Looks like they’re available with a shoulder stock as well, making them into a small carbine...

    Seems like you can get ready for another good session. Don’t forget to tuck your trouser bottoms in your socks,lol......??. I remember shooting hundreds on a friends farm many years ago. He’d moved some poultry sheds and they were everywhere. Great sport that I’ll never forget.?

    I reckon it’s only a matter of time before this goes country wide. Won’t take long for other counties to follow suit and jump on this bandwagon, and it will just snowball across the country. I could be wrong????

    I know, the last two times I’ve taken a .22 rimfire, and I wished I’d taken the hw100. Squirrels and jays in the trees and I had to just sit and watch them?
