  1. Good shooting. As above, I’d give it a pull through first, see if that sorts it. A dirty barrel will make a difference.
  2. I agree, Eley seem to have taken a backward step in my opinion. I’ve moved over to rws mainly, they seem to be still as good as ever. I used to find eley .22’s unbeatable. Not anymore?
  3. Decathlon have some good cabinets at decent prices. Worth a look if there’s a store near you?
  4. Into the skip with the rest of the old junk??
  5. More old junk.............? Always wanted one, never had one...................yet? good shootin Mark?
  6. So what, I’ve got 3500 for my theoben sirocco so there.......? Show off........ ? ?
  7. Not so accurate in my hw100 but good in my theoben sirocco.20 edit to say, obviously they aren’t .177’s that I use in the theoben, so maybe that doesn’t count? ?
  8. I thought the same about the feathers, had loads of wings saved up but nobody wanted them. Never thought about taking them to a shop though. Good shooting with the air rifle, I’ve mostly shot them with a shotgun and they still aren’t the easiest of birds to get a bead on.
  9. Had my cz 452 cut from 22.5” to 15”. Best thing I did with it, much better tool for me now. .17hmr and only lost 70fps mv.
  10. Well, that’s a good bit of sport you had Nathan, and some good exercise too. ? win win.
  11. I have an hw60j(hornet),which is very good imo. Well engineered, lovely trigger and very accurate. I’ve got to say that I do like the look of these new tikka rimfires though. If they did them in .22wmr I’d be very interested in a closer look at one?. It’d be the 16” barrel version for me.
  12. I’ve shot a few over the chrono today and they gave an average velocity of 830fps/42.84ft lb. accuracy was reasonable at 30 yards. I used the same aimpoint to establish bullet drop at 50 yards. At 50 yards, the grouping was opening up quite a bit, only putting 4 out of the 5 shots on the target. Shortly afterwards, an unlucky crow decided to present itself at what turned out to be 34 paces. I took the shot with confidence at that range, but I wouldn’t stretch these particular little rounds much further than that. Fairground fodder really I think, but should be useful for squirrels under the f
  13. Well done lee, you’re right, it would have been rude not to ?...........
  14. Well done, good shooting fella?
  15. Good shooting Nathan. Velocitors nailed ‘em?
  16. Nice write up walshie, I can imagine the state of the squirrel, I’ve shot a few with the hornet and they were mashed, to say the least?
  17. Not a problem Nathan, got a fair bit on atm, probably in September ?
