  1. No, because the shop is so small?
  2. Do you have to reset the starting point for the hammer spring adjustment to get the power up there? 38 ft lb in .22 seems like a useful output for what I could use, and then turn it down when required. It’s the crown I’m more interested in ( as you probably know vm ). Still haven’t put a variation in yet though ?. I’ve been using reduced velocity .22 rimfire loads but I’m sure the crown would cover that better for me. I thought the crown only went up to around 32 ft lb in .22, but if it can go up to the high 30’s that’s more appealing to me for use with a heavier pellet. What is the shot coun
  3. Well done for getting him into it. He’s part of the future of the sport?
  4. Interesting, I fancy a .22 magnum myself, but I’m not sure whether it would offer me anything that the hornet doesn’t? I took the mouse gun and air rifle out yesterday( the one I’ve been considering swapping for a wmr ), but as I forgot to take any airgun pellets I decided to have a bit of a longer range test of the mouse gun. Not very scientific, but I cracked five off at a one gallon can at 200 yards. Aimed Centre top edge of the can and achieve around two inches or slightly less to my surprise, especially as I wasn’t really trying very hard due to the size of the target. Might keep the mou
  5. I reckon early eighties for the yellow boxes, and probably nineties for the red ones.
  6. I called in when I was up in Blackpool a couple of years ago. It’s on a back street and a lot smaller than I expected. I thought it would be at least as big as ‘Drapers Airguns’, but nowhere near. Same with ‘The Airgun Centre’, a surprisingly small shop on a little service road.
  7. At last, I managed to source some high velocity eley/ici .22’s. The eley’s used to be my favourite hv .22’s so I’m looking forward to making the most of these. It’s been a while......
  8. There you go then. CCI subs are a good price and if they suit your rifle it’s good. I used to use them quite a lot but haven’t bought any for a long time though I’m not sure why?
  9. Exactly, a friend of mine bought a 500 brick of Winchesters when he first got his .22, only to find out that it didn’t really like them. He told me that he was surprised because he thought winchester were good ammunition. He then went and did the same again when he recently bought his tx1 hmr. Bought five boxes of Winchester hmr instead of a box each different brands?
  10. Good shooting, looks like your lad enjoyed himself as well?
  11. I tried one box of the new 38 grain subs and didn’t find them as accurate in my Anschutz as the 40 grain in the green box. I’ve been using rws subs mainly recently. Used to really like the eleys though.
  12. Yeah, maybe she’s wondering if you’ve got a strimmer because her bush needs trimming?
  13. Is the stock synthetic or over moulded beach like the 110?
  14. Great result, good shooting fellas ?
  15. Yep, Matlock and Riber mostly. Not far from Alfreton.
