  1. Wrap the cord around your foot, stand on it and pull the rifle upwards, they are tight. You’ll struggle to pull it through just by hand.
  2. I’ve found them to throw a good pattern and they’re quiet. Shot a few squirrels using them. A good short range cartridge in my opinion.
  3. One pound bleddy fifty? and I thought I was tight, and I just fired forty rounds of .22 hornet this afternoon just checking zero and keeping my eye in, and that’s a lot for me..??? never mind Stavross,
  4. Needs to be to fit on the back of his tricycle. Ding Ding.......???
  5. If it’s steel there’s no time limit. If it looks in poor condition though, they may refuse to hydro test it.
  6. Well improvised, did the job for you and didn’t cost you anything. Excellent result ?
  7. Nice looking piece fella, I’m sure you’ll enjoy using it?
  8. I thought the 1771 mag might fit? But as you say, best give them a call for advice?

  10. The later ones are supposed to be ok, probably better off with an Armsan or ATA though? A friend of mine has a Hatstand pump but it jams too much and spoils his fun, so he says he’s upgrading.
  11. An old pal gave me some tin cartridges some years ago. I thought they might be ok for using to shoot some squirrels. I was wrong, they wouldn’t bring the tough little bu55ers down. I hit one twice while it was running, somersaulted it both times and it carried on running. I decided to try them on an old dog food tin and the pellets barely dented it. No wonder they didn’t stop the squirrels. Total crap they were.
  12. I agree, the amount of runners I’ve seen when they’ve been shot with steel. Also had teal revived half an hour after picking. Quack quack in the back of the truck?
  13. These are 5.52 jimmy, as I normally buy 5.52 jsb’s in 16 grain for my rapid and contour which both shoot them brilliantly. I’ve only tried these express in the 99 though, don’t know how they will shoot in my pre charged guns?
  14. Well, I bought some of these jsb’s expecting great results, not so in my hw99 v Mach. Even the cheapo bisley wasps did better in both accuracy and energy at 30 yards.
  15. It would be interesting to see them compared back to back ? Although, it would seem that a .22 rimfire would make more sense economically in both purchase price and cost of ammunition. Also longevity quite possibly, as most decent .22 rimfire rifles would most likely outlast their owners? Having said that, I’m very interested to see how the .25 slugs perform.
  16. Do they have any advantage over .22 rimfire for example? If not, I can’t see the point in them for anyone who has a rimfire.
