Why are you so sure it's true? What evidence have you seen? See I gave you a pretty credible source saying it never happened so you must have some pretty impressive evidence to contrary to continue being so convinced that it actually happened.

Nothing to do with my opinion pal I couldn't give a shite what happened in the Philippines 100 years ago, it's the opinion of military historian Dr. Frank E. Vandiver. On the one hand we have an urban legend with no source that does the rounds every few years on FB etc and on the other we have a professor of history that wrote a book about the man saying it never happened. I wonder which is the more believable source

I haven't, but the photo of him meeting "celebrities" didn't look too rough. Should have been in a 6x6 concrete cell lying in his own shit for the rest of his life, only allowed out for electric shock therapy to his testicles. Well ideally that's the treatment he'd recieve but it's not like that's what he would of got in normal jail. Would of had his own cell with TV and PlayStation etc. Secure psychiatric facilities aren't some cushy option when compared to normal jails, they're pretty fecking similar with the added bonus of being surrounded by screaming nutters. End of the day the dog jacked once (supposedly when in bad condition) out of how many times? I think you can allow an old dog an off day, it's not like we're talking game dogs here anyway. And by the sounds of it he produced better than himself and at the end of the day that's a rare and valuable trait in any type of dog.

Honestly it's a rematch every boxing fan would love to see but I can't help agreeing with walshie (feck sake, twice already today and it's not even 10am! ). Maybe it'd be best to remember them as the legends they are and not as two grandads in the ring giving a performance that doesn't do either of their legacies justice.
