Be interested to see folks answers to this, it's my opinion that the rise of the two income household has lead to the rise in antisocial behaviour etc from kids. No ones there to raise them because both parents are working all the hours God sends just to keep their heads above water

This is a really common misconception but they've never wanted to get married in churches that don't agree with their lifestyle, they wanted the law that stops churches that do agree with their lifestyle from performing marriage ceremonies for them to be repealed. No church was ever going to be forced to perform gay marriages.

Not all leftists are mental animal rights types, the ones that are I avoid like the plague I am probably in the minority on the left being into fieldsports and bulldogs though I've known quite a few leftist hunters over the years but the bulldog game is definitely dominated by far right politics, I just keep those parts of my life separate. Just because I don't agree with someone's politics doesn't mean I won't happily have a friendly natter about shared interests.
