  1. Reminds me of this clip, although this one went the way you would anticipate!
  2. I don't know, maybe I'm just too shallow and judgemental . . But there's some folk I look at and think "I don't like you" Mr Sheene is one . . I do get proved wrong occasionally, but sadly not often!
  3. I don't think Haye wanted the fight with Fury . . I was of the view that Haye would be far too dynamic for Fury. But when he pulled out and Peter Fury said, believe me, he'll pull out again! Low and behold! Coincidence? Mmm I don't think so, I believed Fury psyched him out . . He is after all a Big and unpredictable man, Haye couldn't do anything with him during the head to heads!
  4. Ah well, this'll be interesting ! I for one think some people are born gay, I don't I would be if I lived a thousand times! I like the racklies a bit too much I'm afraid :-/ . . Others can adopt homosexual tendencies I would imagine! I remember once, I was conversing with a colleague, who was as gay and camp as they come! Another contentious (towards me) colleague comes in and knowing I am a bible believing christian says to me "what does the bible say about homosexuality?? I responded "the same as it does about adultry" he shut mouth and turned tail, he was a married man who well know
  5. Hmmm I think giving advice can be a tricky thing, especially when it comes to folk you don't know too well . . For me it can be like an unexpected visitor, if it isn't invited, it isn't welcome!
  6. Mmm it was music to the ears hearing this news. The Paris attacks proved further that we need men and intelligence on the ground as much a nuclear deterrent . . One good thing to come from Paris at least, some sense finally. I just hope he follows through and true.
  7. I don't know about driving, but I have swept down onto my local football pitch from an embankment on my trek bike, lamped whilst still moving at pace and the dog caught, cycled pack up with the dog in tow with one in the mouth . . I felt like a hero ha ha
  8. Ha ha whilst I would give him a big 'amen' ! It's highly doubtful that he's a Muslim scholar, certainly not a credible one. Folks the theme of the Koran is not one of peace. Muhammad himself was documented to be a violent murderer and plunderer. These paracites in Paris were doing their faith proud. A 'good' Muslim is a contradiction in terms, as much as a 'bad' Christian is. . Always match credentials according to the relevant criteria. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm
  9. I wonder if these fecking lefties will still be still banging the drum "you're welcome here" this is what you get when you open your borders as freely as a bottle of milk . . I've been to Paris with my wife and I've been to France a few times, it always struck me how many Muslims are there . . Oh I don't mean to bash them, but it's undeniable, where they are in high number, you will find the ones who been business for their faith. Call them terrorists, or extremists . . Really they should be called what they are, 'fundamental Muslims'. I feel our forces are doing a far better job on our s
  10. I took the photo whilst at Edinburgh National Art Gallery today, a big painting, took up the side of a wall. It was indeed Jan Weenix https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Landscape_with_Huntsman_and_Dead_Game_1697_Jan_Weenix.jpg
  11. Ha ha . . Yes, thought the painting would be appreciated. Someone will know I'm sure
  12. The dam to my dog was a 2nd cross whippet/grey x whippet/grey, 24"tts and right racy looking bitch . . Sounds wrong that :-/ ha ha
  13. Yes, awesome series this is proving to be. I'm not fan of everyhthing the BBC do and some of their agendas, but no one can put a documentary together like they do for me. Attenborough's voice is iconic, nice to still hear him narrating.
  14. Hate to say this, as I can't think of much I agree with the man on . . But I find him more likable and down to earth than the likes Cameron and Osborne.
  15. Sorry if this has already been put on the tread . . But the size of this?!? Man alive, I've heard boys talk about pits, but there's not a dog on the planet that could tackle a thing like that!! Said to be a 200lb . . Only just seen it on FB
  16. Hmm I wouldn't say straight bull mastiff myself, she's got the markings, but her head looks boxer like?!? That said, I'm not all that clued up on these breeds. Nice bitch nonetheless
  17. I've already opted in, I got talked into it by a pretty face in Exeter 4 years ago ha . . I don't think what others decide to do with their organs should have any influence on what we do with ours. It's a shame not enough folk signed up voluntarily, that way it wouldn't be mandatory like it's going I suppose.
  18. Cheers tiercel, I have tried this preciously, but will do it again tomorrow . . Strong dog otherwise, no apparent signs of ailment.
  19. Something that was said about my running dog back in the summer has sprung to mind. A knowledgeable enough lady said that my dog was dehydrated, she concluded this due to his pale gums?? He's always got a bowl of fresh water and his gums are always pale?! No such issue (if it is) with my other running dog . . Any thoughts folks??
  20. It's a 50/50 this one, I'm going for Quigg . . My boxing guru friend says Frampton
  21. I suppose a persons view on the acquirement and distribution of wealth rests on ones sociological standpoint. I'm afraid to say I am a functionalist in that respect, I think marxism relies too heavily on the 'goodness of man', of which I am highly dubious and probably lean towards a Calvinistic approach of 'total depravity' I am not a Calvinist, more of a 'calminian' ! In view of wealth, a statement I acknowledge more than any other is this: "For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with
  22. And this I believe is the full quote: "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is
