With Joshua on the rise, I think Britain will be keeping the titles at home . . Who would have thought!
-
When I read "had a job to do" I thought "I bet this kid isn't British" . . . My sister is out in Adelaide, she's trying to persuade me join her. When I ask "what's the hunting like" she says "there's big rabbits out here" Kangaroos! Ha ha

My mother drinks it. I've tried it, a good cup of tea ruined as far as I can say! I'd be interested to here more about the benefits for a running dog . . I'm sure it's ringing bells, an old dog man I once knew use to feed his tea, it wasn't redbush though . . Skycat ??

While i agree Hearn has a great energy about him and in the long run is going to be brilliant for boxing in this country he,s had a little bit of a head start on Frank ......ive said for many years nobody has done more for young British fighters than Frank Warren a man who started from nothing going on to compete with and against iconic names such as Mickey Duff on the domestic stage and Don King on the world stage when America was the dominant force in the sport.....i think it unfair to put slick silver spoon Eddie in that league yet........Frank was making a business from a hobby Eddie is m

As for this fight tomorrow night, I'd love to see Fury do it, he is a British after all. I can't see it happening myself, I see Klitschko winning 6-8 rounds. I don't think Fury will embarrass himself like Haye did, I see a proud effort, but one where ultimately confidence will not be enough.

I believe Eddy Hearn is to thank for fights like Joshua vs Whyte, he appears to have a genuine love for the game, he wants to make and see the most exciting fights available in the UK. I often hear him say "let's give the public what they want" I believe he means that. I think the like of Warren in the past have been guilty of trying keep fighters unbeaten for too long.

Nothing wrong with your wit or intellect gnash sir. I clicked on the link but it's showing "page not available" cruelty to animal I take it?? I often get people say to me "who are you to talk against animal abuse with the things you do!" . . To be honest I'm always left thinking "ffs" . . I think of abuse as unnecessary, especially 'prolonged' cruelty . . Now I think if you've owned working lurchers for years, you'd have got close to crossing the line here or there maybe. It's well documented that people who take interest in 'abusing' animals can have psychological problems, yeah I k -

I have no idea!?! A tongue maybe?!? Something I found out recently via my newly aquatinted Indian friend was that 'Indian restaurants' Are either 98% Pakistani or Bangladeshi and not actually 'Indian' I thought that was interesting, he comes from a family who specialises in cuisine and yes, as you can imagine I don't mind going around there for tea!

OK, so I am going a little blind too, I could do with glasses, but I'm too proud :-/ ha ha. Actually, lurchers mate, I think you are bang on . . I believe a lot of folk who jump on treads on this particular section are fecking clueless, regardless of how many 'posts' they have next to their name/title. I don't have anyone in mind, well, ah but let's be honest, it's difficult to tell the wood from the trees at a glance! And that's a shame really, I wonder how many times genuine dog men are put off posting because the perceived 'know it all's' with their 'thousands of posts' taking ove

Ay, ay, calm down, calm down, wind your necks in! A simple mistake, that I wasn't the only one making . . Difficult reading things on a phone sometimes! But as for 'snapping' a dogs ear to make it 'sit' right! FFS indeed, that is ridiculous and of which I might add I know nothing about, so no, evidently I don't think I know "everythig " lurchers pal

Generally speaking, travellers are all about pride - you will not meet a more prideful people! It's elevation through money, and possessions i.e. having the best trailer/chalet, best dog, chicken (game) fighting man ! Etc . . On the contrary is its 'desecration' when in competition, some will go to any length (evidently) to ruin the name and possessions of someone . . And so I would say this crime we speak of has everything to do with Pride . . In moderation it's necessary, healthy! But when taken too far "comes before a fall"

I wouldn't of thought any kind of dicipline via the ears would ever have been beneficial, especially with a lurcher . . To think, the dog would have to be within arms length in order to receive such 'abuse' and what a total breach of trust the mutt would feel! It seems like a 'dirty' kind of punishment. If and when physical discipline needs to be administered, surely it should be done as 'inanimately' as possible . . A tug on the collar, tap from a stick or whip etc. And as for a lurcher 'sitting' well, whether that needs instilling at all could be another thread?? A pointless exerci

You know someone's of importance when they're stood the other side of the fence haha. Great pics TC, good to see. -
It's simply an abomination . . Sacrilege. People who can do such things, I don't know how they sleep at night . . I use to hear the expression "dance on their graves" when I was a boy, I thought that was bad enough - but to vandalize graves of such age and significance! Demented.

I had Cotto a handy winner, as did most of my friends in the boxing circle . . GGG will be too much for Canelo

I can't read anything about dept collectors/bailiffs without my blood boiling, nothing more than fecking parasitical pustules as far as I see . . "It's a job, someone's got to do it" bullshite, they come of a certain belt them lot . . People should pay the debt they accumulate for sure, but sending in cowboys who act like they are exempt from the law, bully the vulnerable and weak . . Shoot them as far a care. Parasites.

I think there was a thread on here back along "life's regrets" or something like that . . One chap said "buying a navara" it got some approval! I was think navara, quite like these Amoraks now . .

When you get a visit from a mod, you wonder "what have I done!" Ha ha

Ha ha well it's a little mad to me how folk can be so full of conviction for wrong doing without the concept of a God. . After all, how can you have a jurisdiction without a judge!? If you make man the judge and legislator of right and wrong, well, that would all be 'relative' and evidently these folk don't agree with the 'norms' but who are we to condemn?! Again, there is no actual right or wrong . . Just societal rules which again, these folks don't care about . . Of course I don't agree "thou shall not murder" . . Now it does get a little grey between killing and murdering sometimes, b

A mate has the tracer 150 led. Tight and bright ! . . I'd still rather my striker ATM, I prefer the yellow beam and that bit more width to the beam, sheds a bit more light on the run, I like to see the dog closing/working . . You haven't got much of that with these led's, although I'm sure they leave a bit more sport in the field . .

That ain't no kennel, that's a dogs penthouse! Ha ha . . Great stuff. . Generally, you can tell a lot about a dog man by his set up. -
I often hear folk talk about how 'selfish' it is, like it was an attention seeking stunt or something . . I feel like dropping a right hand on them if I'm honest . . I can't imagine the despair they must be going through . . It's when it happens near to home, and you're left ruing over not getting them . . I've seen it in mental health hospitals too, not always the ones you would think . .
