  2. I got strong stuff and kcb and more than happy with both. Just a matter of preference. One thing that goes really well with either is the slide on name tag if you use one. ss recommend it and I think it came from america. Superb quality
  3. I will just go charge up my electric car for 3 years so i can go to the shop for some bread then pray I can make it back to the charging point
  4. Roast in balsamic toms, garlic and onion soup for tea plenty of toms at the moment and its really nice. Tom soup can be a bit tangy as a rule but roasting it cures that nicely

  6. lol yea I know. That wouldn't work for me I am more of a 1 rabbit here 1 there type mission. The dog either finds them tucked away in a hole some where or flushes and puts them to ground
  7. The cover is right about february around here then its time to pack up. So I like to start early and just struggle a bit
  8. Today was a weeding day and get the netting off and get in there. All to easy to keep looking at weeds coming to flower under the net. gave the parsley a short back and sides sprouts are looking really good chard nice and tidy dwarf beans producing well now and end of the line for one of the cabbages
  9. I will be having a little nose about august on any little open holes until the cover dies. I need to keep this fella gainfully employed
  10. Knocked the haulms off today to stop the blight getting into the spuds turned my compost over and picked me shallots

  12. I know one thing when your wife sees them flying around the yard diving all over the place she will love them. Very entertaining things with character

  14. Is the tree your trying to get going a fig or a wallnut? If it's old and not fruiting, dig a trench a foot deep, 3 feet away from the trunk, and dig that around one half of the tree, leave it two years, and do the other side, and watch it go. My aunt had one in her garden, not doing well, we did this to it, and bingo, it was off. Turns out it is a green gauge. Interesting tip

  16. More legs the better lol. Carrots are not easy and I would be happy with them
  17. Mine are on the shady side of the yard in the summer and i move them to the sunny side in the winter. The two hobs I have do whiff a bit but nothing to worry about and just clean regular and a bit of disinfectant in the yard to keep things fresh
  18. Few swede and beets coming along well cabbage are hearting up nicely now. Can't help posting these cabbage all the time they look so unusually healthy. Bet they taste shite
