  2. Rent the plots next door that seems to work Could you break up a pallet stick some points on and whack them in for your fence. I don't care what things look like as long as they sort of work
  3. What if you take her for little stroll before you bring her in and maybe take away her water an hour before she comes in. Just thinking out loud
  4. Not a clue what they are...bought em from b&q Only reason I asked is I grew greyhound once and tasted great but wouldn't stand long before splitting
  5. Very impressed with tumbling toms my first year with them and we are neck deep in toms. Just made yet another batch of soup. Definitely do them again next year
  6. Having they been standing long some with just start to split after a while while others stand better. So I have noticed. Are they greyhound ?
  7. At least that was the plan but nothing went up the pass but not too worry a nice way to spend an hour. The plan was to work a bank of cover bank towards to the net. I thought there was a little foot path going through it and the dog could have worked the cover either side and put the wind up any thing about. But it turned out to be over grown. But once the cover is down we will try again I do enjoy a sneaky bit of netting
  8. I did that last year jok and I also found out the flat ones didn't keep well like that one at the top on the left. So this year I will use them first too
  9. Struggling there my self I hung some in the house last year and they went off quite quick but the ones in my shed out side which is plastic and suffers from condensation kept really well. bUt we did use them quite quick any way So this year I might just knock up a water proof lean too and hang them under that
  10. There was a fella on here who does not post much now a days but he used to put up cracking threads of his cockers with the hawks and ferrets and his dogs seemed to excel at it all
  11. I pinched the wifes cocker when he was 7 or 8 and he marked fine and took to it like a duck to water eager to please. He had zero training though but if he had been trained and used to a hunting life he would been awesome little chap
  12. Beautiful dog keep any lad happy
  13. Rabbits seem to move a around a lot it is surprising. Certain areas will hold in the summer then as the cover dies they move. If you only have a handful as well they can be good at keeping there heads down too
  14. I have two of this years hob together and the smaller one gets a bit of a ragging but nothing too bad. Will see how I go next summer though when they are adults. I wouldn't be surprised if I need to split them then during the summer. Will play it by ear
  15. He sounds the best person to have in the job and he will have more of an understanding than the others. It is criminal really to hound some one like that. No pun intended. If he was black gay or god knows what they wouldn't dare say a thing but god forbid he likes working dogs. Disgusting
  16. Not the one I will be able to afford probably have peddles and a dynamo
  17. I got strong stuff and kcb and more than happy with both. Just a matter of preference. One thing that goes really well with either is the slide on name tag if you use one. ss recommend it and I think it came from america. Superb quality
  18. I will just go charge up my electric car for 3 years so i can go to the shop for some bread then pray I can make it back to the charging point
  19. Roast in balsamic toms, garlic and onion soup for tea plenty of toms at the moment and its really nice. Tom soup can be a bit tangy as a rule but roasting it cures that nicely
  20. Less the better very selfish of me I know lol
  21. lol yea I know. That wouldn't work for me I am more of a 1 rabbit here 1 there type mission. The dog either finds them tucked away in a hole some where or flushes and puts them to ground
  22. The cover is right about february around here then its time to pack up. So I like to start early and just struggle a bit
