Best Pellets For Bsa Scorpion 22
PLEDGEY replied to Lee.m's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Always use AA Fields in my S410. I like to use a little Napier pellet lube as well. It's got the VP90 in it so is good for keeping the barrel in good condition as I some times don't get to shoot it for a while and I never clean anything :-) -
Looks like the main winner at the worlds worst raffle.......or best raffle, depending on how you look at it :-)

New Gun P.cp. Need Help With A Few Pointers Please
PLEDGEY replied to mr practice's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I got 2 bags. One is filled with kiln dried sand and weighs a ton. This one stays permanently on my shooting table. The other I have filled with dried peas from Morrisons. This on is nice and light and can be carried easily when I go shooting rats. Don't know about bottles as I use a foot pump.....Feel the burn!! -
Even if you managed to catch them you'll just keep getting asked to catch them when they come back again. If mole catching ain't your bag, especially if you're not getting paid for it, it'll become a pain in the ass. Pass it on.

How To Get My First Permission?!
PLEDGEY replied to TriggerPlease's topic in General Airgun Discussion
All the above but also read all you can about pest/vermin control. What you can, and what you can't, not only shoot, but trap and poison. If you start talking to a farmer/small holder and you can talk confidently about all aspects of pest control they'll be more inclined to feel comfortable and at ease with you. I have just got 250 acres of beet to shoot rabbits on. I got this as I had noticed the farmer was piling up mounds of poison for a rat problem. Explained that how he was putting the poison out was ineffective and dosing non target species as I could see birds eating it. Told him to use -
Reminds me of this but then FPS is a professional Russian

Home made Tian with layers of seasoned avocado and sustainable Devon crab meat with a touch of coriander mayonnaise, served with a grilled sourdough bread. They go mental for it........failing that, cat food.

Went to the hide after work and there's a squirrel there. Shoots it with the .410 then put it out behind the hide, I leave them there for the fox, badger, what ever wants to eat it. Was sat drinking me tea when a Magpie comes down. Slips in a subsonic and shoots it. There's loads of noise from the tree 20yards away but managed to get that one as well. Just goes to show you can do every thing you can think of to try and shoot a Magpie without any success. Then you can get 2 when you ain't even trying.

Why feel sad for someone who is stupid. If you feel that bad then take people under your wing and teach em lessons you paid for...in money, blood, sweat and tears I feel for them the same way as I would for any one that's being conned. Most people believe what they are told because they are good people and they think every one else is like them, that doesn't make some one stupid.
-
I have just read http://www.countrymolecatcher.co.uk/country-mole-catcher-franchise/ and it makes me sad. There are going to be people that are going to go for this. They'll fall for all the bullshit in the add and when they are not getting the earnings they have been told she'll just buy the area franchise back off of them and sell it to another mug. I bet in the franchise contract it says you have to buy all traps and paraphernalia from her as well.

Them kids is gonna' grow up just fine. We went to the Bath and West Show today. Was stood by one of the Alpaca pens. There were 2 in there, and one had been shaved, looked very peculiar. Both were tame and didn't mind being stroked. 2 small children stood looking at them very intently when the little girl says ''Can I stroke it?'' Woman says''Nonono don't touch them!!, we haven't got any wipes!!'' and then leads the children away. A woman next to us commented how sad this was as how often is a child going to get the chance to feel an Alpaca. Me and the Mrs were scratching pigs, smoothing cows

Comparing a Corvids actions to a Hawks actions is exactly the same as far as I'm concerned. It's just doing what comes naturally. No one would say they hate or loath a Buzzard but If Natural England were to put Buzzards on the General Licence I would shoot them too. They would still be beautiful birds doing what comes naturally but the minute they become a legal quarry pest and some one wants me to control them then I would. It's nothing personal, just pest control.

I'm a fully qualified British Pest Control Association pest controller. I've lost count of the number of different animals I've dispatched over the years. Everything from fleas, bed bugs, wasps, up to the larger stuff like rabbits, fox and , with help, deer problems. In all these years it's never been personal. When I was 6 years old I fell into a wasps nest on the Quantock Hills, spent 3 days in Hospital. From that grew a wasp phobia, couldn't even go into a room that had a dead wasp in it. Wife came home once and I'm outside coz there was a dead one in the kitchen. Anyways, got over my phobi

Get one that tilts. Non tilt will be cheaper but you'll end up buying a tilting bipod in the end as the non tilt will drive you nuts. I like the Harris pods.

What van did you have when it was broken in to?. Was it a MK 6 or 7 Transit?. Merc Sprinter, can I have my tools back lol... What ever van anyone gets you MUST get an after market lock fitted. The pick for a Sprinter is Lishi HU64. VW Transporters and Audis are HU66 picks. There is already a pick out for the new Ford Transit Custom vans it's a Prodecoder HU101. But the easiest buy far to get into is a MK 6 or 7 Transit. They use Tibbe lock and it's shite. You can gain entry in to them in under 7 seconds and as there is only the one lock on the drivers door this will open the side
