  1. NightForce BEAST 2-25X56............just kiddin', a Mamba Lite by MTC scopes.
  2. 200 quid?. Just get a Mamba Lite by MTC. That's plenty good enough for a .22, and you'll have some change!.
  3. Crazy how some FAO get a bad rep. The one i see here in Somerset is spot on. Never had any trouble with him, he always talks sense and i never feel a sense of woe if i have to see him about clearing land or what ever.
  4. I'm in Somerset. When i want land cleared it's the FAO that does it. Also, it wasn't until after i had sent off all my paper work for a .22lr that i considered getting a HMR. Rang the FAO and spoke to him and got both. Just give them a call, you never know.
  5. Do a google search for Mitsubishi L200 engine problems, Nissan Navara engine problems, Toyota etc etc. You'll see the Hilux has the least problems, and these problems seem to be mainly with the models after the MK5. This is why i've just bought a 2004 MK5 with the 2.5 D4D engine. I traveled 104 miles last week and used £16 of diesel, and that's with M/T tyers fitted. Hilux has 102 bhp, other makes have a lot more power but they use intercoolers. When you try and wring extra power out of the same size engine is when you get problems. If you want to know more about Hilux's go to HPOC.com
  6. Some insurance companies might see it as a modification if it's an after market add on. Always check with your insurance company to make sure. If you have a prang and they send some one out to look at your motor, they'll look for any thing to stop them paying out. I've just had some Insa Turbo Dakar M/T's put on my Hilux. I'm off work next week and going to pop in and tell broker the change I've made just to be safe.
  7. A while back you couldn't open a shooting magazine witout seeing an article saying how good the 'Great Wall' trucks are. Any one out there bought one?, are they any good?. Just seen this on the HPOC Hilux site.
  8. If you haven't got a punch you can use a small drill bit.
  9. Put kits on both my 452's. Kits are cheap as chips, easy to fit, and for me personally, I am glad I did them.. Now the triggers is very light, which I like. There are videos on YouTube that show how to fit them.
  10. Got 2 CZ 452's. One in 22lr, one in 17HMR. I sanded away where the barrel sits with a sanding drum (that's what i call it) which came with my Dremel multi tool. Rubbed a bit of wood stain where i had sanded and now they both float a treat. Check out the video called 'How to free float a bolt action rifle' on Youtube.
  11. I shoot lefty as well and have the same. 452 American. I fitted a trigger kit to mine, very easy, and it's sweet as a nut. £30 SAK MOD, box of 40g Winchesters and you're away!.
  12. I always carry one of those thin canvas type slips. They roll up really small, small enough to fit in your pocket. I never under estimate the public's ability to totally over react when they see any thing that looks like a gun. I don't HAVE to put it in a slip, but i do. It's all about due diligence.
  13. Have never cleaned my CZ 452 22LR or my AA S410 air rifle. Never had a problem with either of them. If it ain't broke......
  14. CZ American ZKM452 17HMR costs £390, SAK MOD £33, so that's £420. That leaves £180 for a scope. Is the Hawke scope that is in the package worth more or less than £180?. I would be expecting all 3 items to be worth more than the £600 price that is being offered as a package, this is the incentive to buy all 3 at once.
  15. She should expand on here comment of 'Nine people dying ' and say how, and what, new measures she wants to bring in would have stopped those deaths. I wouldn't vote Labour any way, but now i DEFINITELY won't vote Labour.
  16. Got a single barrel Baikal Hushpower. I use different carts in it so i can't say i have noticed any difference over time. I do like the Eley 2 1/2'',12.5 gram, 6 shot, they are the quietest I've used. I got some Lyalvale 2 1/2'', 14gram, 5shot, i like them for squirrels. The 5 shot is louder, but compared to a 12g cartridge it's nothing.
  17. Have you tried HPOC, the Hilux Pickup Owners Club?. I've got stuff for my MK2 Hilux off of the guys on there. Even got a speed cable, and there rare as rockin' horse shit :-)
  18. Search 'bolt jeweling midway' on Youtube. Nice vid showing how it's done.
  19. Spot on,too many idiots All the vehicles i have, and have had, have had B.A.S.C stickers in them. I have never had any negative attention from anyone. I have been asked a couple of times what B.A.S.C is by people that had seen the stickers, but it's been positive reactions when explained exactly what B.A.S.C do. Plus it shows support for a good organisation. I can't say i have ever heard of anyone getting any unwanted attention because of a sticker. Is there anyone that has had unwanted attention?.
  20. It's a sticker I'm after It's a sticker I'm after, but thanks for the offer.
  21. Got a new truck and wanted a B.A.S.C. sticker for it. Went on the B.A.S.C site, clicked on B.A.S.C shop, this directed me to a Fur Feather and Fin site. Clicked on the sticker i wanted, priced at .99p, and then noticed they wanted £2.99p for P+P. Is it me or does anyone else think £2.99p for P+P, which will take 6-7-days for delivery, for a 99p car sticker is taking the piss?.
  22. I got a cz452 with the mamba lite, same reticle. Best i get some SK HP's an zero at 52yrds!
  23. Definitely looks like you got a set up that works a treat. Is that a MTC scope you are using?, looks like a SCB reticle.
