i wouldnt like to hazard a guess as different guns suit different folk. but i wil,l say ive always used spring guns untill recently, ive got a pcp gun now and it is fecking brilliant compared to the old springer.
i agree they are shit for the money.
the first thing i do when i buy a lightforce lamp is rewire the fecking thing.
i do away with the switch aswell, ive got it so as i just touch 2 wires together alot less hassel than swiches and its silent aswell.
well done j.dog and laddie. its good to get out and watch the dog have a run mate. if we waited for the perfect night weather wise none of us would get out much.

hard question to answer that alot of things to take into consideration like breed of dog and time of year. ive seen some good runs up the dales the couple of times ive been up there and ive also seen some easier runs.
with all the work youve put into those two dogs i can see this wouldnt have been a lightly made decision. good luck finding them a good home.
theres certainly been plenty of ground work done with them.
the best dry food i found for working my dog on was eukanuba. he looked well and maintained good stamina on it, i could see where the extra money was going with the overall condition of my dog.
myself or my dog don't pay any attention to them. i just carry on lamping other rabbits elsewhere in the field. surely you could of got slips on other rabbits in the field
