  1. i dont buy in adult dogs anymore but have done in the past. i would take the dog out a few more times and see how he gets on, the moons up at the moement so its not the best of nights to be out. imo no dogs perfect mate at the end of the day as long as the dog is catching plenty then there isnt really a problem is there. i would rather keep a dog that whimpers abit but catches plenty than one thats silent and catches feck all.
  2. Just luck had it 1 day my Bruv in law decided take the mutt on stroll [bANNED TEXT] out diggin as he hadnt had it out behind the quad that day broke through n mal caught eyes n pulled the rest is history so speak . 3. some tidy pics there fuji. those long walks with them young dogs should be building some good stamina into them. looking forward to the future reports of there progress.
  4. where did this Mal X come from ?Pm if you like .................i have seen 3/4 different Mal Xs run over 2/3 seasons and without getting into what I've wrote before wasn't impressed . there seems to be a bit of mystery to where they come from and who bred them.
  5. not sure i would agree with that bg, i would suggest that malemutes can be stubborn and independent, but the gsd cross probably was simply clever enouh to realise that it wasnt going to catch that hare? Malamut exception clever that can say ,yes that 1 jibbed but by f**k she had brains .for a few yrs she been worked had guts I never seen in dog then out blue just cracked n no interest Neva seen it before where did the fault lie do you think, the dog or the owner? jibbed 3 times at the end of the dig was this the same day or week?
  6. spot on that, a good rest will do the dog some good, if the dogs got anything about it he/she should come back on form.
  7. what do you think the lack of interest on some runs is from. injury, rise in temperature lately, or just the fact the dog is simply useing its brains and picking its runs.
  8. i had heard there was abit of mystery over what the sire is. from what i can gather from your previous posts the dog is doing well. so why get rid now youve found out its got saluki blood in it.
  9. as long as they are weaned and eating well then they will be o.k. some bitches get away from there pups as soon as they can, yet ive seen others letting pups suckle on them at 10, weeks old.

practice mate, you will soon get the hang of it or go back to smoking normal cigs lol
  11. ive allready said it before but they are some nice looking dogs me1. you dads pup looks heavier built in that pic, he looks very similiar built to his brother that bird owns. your bitch is a strong looking animal aswell.
  12. how olds your saluki X grey and is it from any top lines? if yes what lines?
  13. my sister took her 16 year old son with her to tesco's to help her carry the shopping. she gets the weeks worth of booze aswell, and they refused to sell her the alcohol just incase she was buying it for a minor. the fact it was her son didnt matter. just takes the piss does that.
  14. any of the two Xs you have mentioned if thats what you want. as long as the dog is doing the job that you require then use it.
  15. So you've run plenty then? And you've had dogs that you trained to run past the does and yearlings to catch up with the bucks leading the charge? Or you've ignored the herds that fallow were in and gone out searching for the solitary bucks or the young bucks that hang about in 2's and 3's? Or you need to have a strong coffee and wake up from your dreams? Which is it? I know what your saying its pure crazy , to drive 2/3 hours each way,2/3 times a week, ,then to drive around looking for at most 6 runs on bucks .ignoring hundreds sometimes of Does ,Then when you find a buck , clever f***
  16. always used cluelite preban and just now great we lamps fit in your pocket always had good bags never had the need for bigger powerfull lamps mostly small fields i do if the dog doesnt get in the beam of a clulite well time for another dog nae good for distance for lamp shy quarry......if yer dug does not run oot longer than the length of the clulite beam.....time for a new dug... ,eh length of the beam on the clulite compared to the blitz is shite.....have had bags more quarry, that would be too far oot for the clulite when using the blitz.. .. do you not struggle to hold the beam st
  17. a pup has alot of knuckle, and has it grows the knuckle gets smaller and smaller. once its gone and the leg looks straight then it means the dog is done growing height wise.
  18. from what i can make out from the photo's theres none or very little knuckle left on that dog so its done growing height wise just a little bit of filling out to do now
  19. i run a malamute/greyhound X lurcher to lurcher 27tts
  20. theres a good first X collie/grey rabbit dog that wouldnt be to far from you mate, contact a member called bird off here. imo they would make some nice pups.
  21. i use a lightforce 140 lance with a 30 watt bulb, i have a striker lense that i put on from time to time when i am lamping large fields.
