  1. who??earlyriser ..Never heard of him........!!!You need to be up early to see him mate i've read a fair few of his posts on here and i think his new user name should be "Morning Glory" lol From what I've read of his its usually aimed at his enemy deerman. So I think he should call himself the opposite........ cheapman it goes like this, get banned as earlystart, make up a new account earlierstart, make 5 normal posts, post a picture of my malx, say its caught a few rabbits, add the obligatory filling the freezer comment, when the post starts to get stale pm a few lads to wind them up so
  2. nice one gents. i bet your feet were fecking hot in them wellies Tomo.
  3. i like all dogs of all flavours but my favourite is the bigger dog 27+ I just like watching a big dog work, speed turning just the pure effort of them, but I've also seen a 19" beddy wip take fallow and regular as you like. Reason is because it can. But still rather the bigger type Lurcher, once has hold it's in the bag. If only we could still do this. once a big lurcher has got hold it dont mean its in the bag. imo with large deer it aint in the bag until its dead, seen deer get pulled over and still manage to get up and go. unless the dogs got a decent grip/bite they cant always hold them
  4. its nice to see pups out and about. looks like you might have a tidy dog on your hands in the future.
  5. i use the lightforce lance with a 14amp lithium battery its a good piece of kit. i run a 30watt bulb in my lamp which helps keep the battery use down, the only time ive had my battery run flat was when it got old and needed replacing.
  6. i use thew deben 14amp lithium but only run a 30 watt bulb, i lamped a bag of 71 rabbits last season and only used 2 L.E.D the 22amp lithium with a striker lamp should be more than enough i would have thought . its the best money i ever spent on lamping equipment
  7. thats a shame that mate. he was a lovely looking dog and would probably of made a good mooching companion with some time spent with him. i liked the little dog and seen some potential there. what happened to him? send a pm if you dont want to put anything on here.
  8. shes a smart looking bitch now millet. a retrieve back to ten yards away is decent enough its better than no retrieve at all, especially on those nights when you take decent bags.
  9. my old dog is 8 and a half years old never had a problem with his dew claws and hes spent 100s of hours out in the field. however i think they should be removed.
  10. don't no why the girl can't even f*****g cook a good meal get rid then. get one that can cook, they can all do the rest.
  11. what height and weight do they make b.g? ive only ever seen one.
  12. . what happened to the litter of first X malamute/siberian put to a greyhound that you have said he bred are they a different litter?
  13. i dont buy in adult dogs anymore but have done in the past. i would take the dog out a few more times and see how he gets on, the moons up at the moement so its not the best of nights to be out. imo no dogs perfect mate at the end of the day as long as the dog is catching plenty then there isnt really a problem is there. i would rather keep a dog that whimpers abit but catches plenty than one thats silent and catches feck all.
  14. Just luck had it 1 day my Bruv in law decided take the mutt on stroll [bANNED TEXT] out diggin as he hadnt had it out behind the quad that day broke through n mal caught eyes n pulled the rest is history so speak . Did well diggin two yrs he then decided took litter off herthen i n 3rd season jacked complete out blue sum dogs self enter that u dnt expect bit like that Pom that get out up on ere just happens if shown enough what did he put over her paulsmithy83?
  15. some tidy pics there fuji. those long walks with them young dogs should be building some good stamina into them. looking forward to the future reports of there progress.
  16. where did this Mal X come from ?Pm if you like .................i have seen 3/4 different Mal Xs run over 2/3 seasons and without getting into what I've wrote before wasn't impressed . there seems to be a bit of mystery to where they come from and who bred them.
  17. not sure i would agree with that bg, i would suggest that malemutes can be stubborn and independent, but the gsd cross probably was simply clever enouh to realise that it wasnt going to catch that hare? Malamut exception clever that can say ,yes that 1 jibbed but by f**k she had brains .for a few yrs she been worked had guts I never seen in dog then out blue just cracked n no interest Neva seen it before where did the fault lie do you think, the dog or the owner? jibbed 3 times at the end of the dig was this the same day or week?
  18. spot on that, a good rest will do the dog some good, if the dogs got anything about it he/she should come back on form.
  19. what do you think the lack of interest on some runs is from. injury, rise in temperature lately, or just the fact the dog is simply useing its brains and picking its runs.
  20. i had heard there was abit of mystery over what the sire is. from what i can gather from your previous posts the dog is doing well. so why get rid now youve found out its got saluki blood in it.
  21. as long as they are weaned and eating well then they will be o.k. some bitches get away from there pups as soon as they can, yet ive seen others letting pups suckle on them at 10, weeks old.
