  1. ive allready said it before but they are some nice looking dogs me1. you dads pup looks heavier built in that pic, he looks very similiar built to his brother that bird owns. your bitch is a strong looking animal aswell.
  2. how olds your saluki X grey and is it from any top lines? if yes what lines?
  3. my sister took her 16 year old son with her to tesco's to help her carry the shopping. she gets the weeks worth of booze aswell, and they refused to sell her the alcohol just incase she was buying it for a minor. the fact it was her son didnt matter. just takes the piss does that.
  4. any of the two Xs you have mentioned if thats what you want. as long as the dog is doing the job that you require then use it.
  5. So you've run plenty then? And you've had dogs that you trained to run past the does and yearlings to catch up with the bucks leading the charge? Or you've ignored the herds that fallow were in and gone out searching for the solitary bucks or the young bucks that hang about in 2's and 3's? Or you need to have a strong coffee and wake up from your dreams? Which is it? I know what your saying its pure crazy , to drive 2/3 hours each way,2/3 times a week, ,then to drive around looking for at most 6 runs on bucks .ignoring hundreds sometimes of Does ,Then when you find a buck , clever f***
  6. always used cluelite preban and just now great we lamps fit in your pocket always had good bags never had the need for bigger powerfull lamps mostly small fields i do if the dog doesnt get in the beam of a clulite well time for another dog nae good for distance for lamp shy quarry......if yer dug does not run oot longer than the length of the clulite beam.....time for a new dug... ,eh length of the beam on the clulite compared to the blitz is shite.....have had bags more quarry, that would be too far oot for the clulite when using the blitz.. .. do you not struggle to hold the beam st
  7. a pup has alot of knuckle, and has it grows the knuckle gets smaller and smaller. once its gone and the leg looks straight then it means the dog is done growing height wise.
  8. from what i can make out from the photo's theres none or very little knuckle left on that dog so its done growing height wise just a little bit of filling out to do now
  9. i run a malamute/greyhound X lurcher to lurcher 27tts
  10. theres a good first X collie/grey rabbit dog that wouldnt be to far from you mate, contact a member called bird off here. imo they would make some nice pups.
  11. i use a lightforce 140 lance with a 30 watt bulb, i have a striker lense that i put on from time to time when i am lamping large fields.
  12. what the fecks a malemute? is it what they call a male MALAMUTE a malemute is a man who can't talk.......................sorry, bad joke and yep i am not a geat speller
  13. just goes to show how bad its got these days. if they never put that warning on the bag of nuts some fecker with a nut allergy could eat them and sue the feck out of the nut company for not putting the warning on the bag. its sad really, but true.
  14. get the dog out and give it plenty of exercise keep the dog tired that should do the trick
  15. what the fecks a malemute? is it what they call a male MALAMUTE
  16. pre ban if your a lamper then lamp them. if your a daywalker run them in the day. its your dog, your chosen method of working that dog and your choice to run it. pre ban after my dogs 15 or 20 rabbitts into the night if i wanted to run a hare then i would, its a different test for the dog.
  17. can you lads with these mal Xs clear something up for me. i was under the impression there might be saluki in those mal Xs is it true?
  18. i only run dogs so that cuts my choice down abit. i dont take the runt. as long as the pups look well reared than i will take a punt. i like a pup that stands up for its sellf but dont bully the rest of the litter.
  19. if you was to get a beddy whippet i would go for a 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddy for no other reason than the fact i think it would be easier to train for you than the half cross. imo from what i have seen the half cross can be very pigheaded and i wouldnt recomend one for a first working dog.
  20. i would run pretty much the same as i got now a heavy set dog.
  21. looks a fecking beast that me1. put a couple of better pics up if you can get some.
  22. it made that jack russel wake up abit, the little fecker should of give that fox a taste of his own medicine back though.
  23. imo to survive like they do with all of todays hunting equipment, especially the rifle's they must be as sly and cunning as they possably can to survive. theres areas round here where they are shot to feck but as fast as they appear to be cleared another moves in. to answer your question as sly or cunning as a fox imo is still true
  24. i had and worked a bitch that was half lab she was the best all round dog ive had the pleasure to work.
