    go on www.castlefarmeggs.co.uk. the fella crossed australorp with indian game and progressed on. a intresting read. a good table bird and the pullets laying 5 eggs per week.

    gundog training by amateurs by richard sharpe. good for basics and good retrieving section. most lurcher books just breeze over training. there is no advice for when things go wrong or problems occur. the gundog books are very informative not many of the lurcher ones are regarding training a lurcher pup.

    just handle them confidently and do it regular. the more space for your ferrets the better.dont think negative everything will be fine with time and patience.

    used to do a lot of ferreting in north wales. the farmer had 2 fell x springers .really strong dogs faced any cover used them for flushing foxes to the gun.

    i have got light sussex bantams and they are fantastic broodys. easy to keep and are very productive layers.

    every dog i ever had lamped bushed with terriers ran daytime hares.

    my dogs only ever ran rabbits and hares.so never felt the need to have a lurcher with bull in it. each man to there own i always say.

    had to call it a day last week the 2 permissions i have have been decimated by myxi over the last few weeks. not a good outlook for the future im afraid.
