  3. Yes, there are some people who are totally devoted to Beardie lurchers and wouldn't have anything else. There are some good hard working lines out there, and they're not just rabbit dogs. they're just not the sort of people who come on forums. Though there is a good little forum: Collie Curs. I don't know if it is now a closed forum or not, but its certainly not open to every idiot with a lurcher That counts me out then . I actually meant working collies not lurchers, for shepherding and the like. www.shepherdswithbeardies.com is worth a look. all the info on beardies working in engla

  5. i can only give a run down of a 1/2 cross beardy i owned for 17 years. he made 25ts rough brindle. training wise he was easy to train but took quite a while to mature. training had to be short sessions or the dog would get bored easy while young. the dog had great feet coat rarely injured. worked with my russel bushing did very well. had a good nose on him and strike.made a decent lamper did not pick and choose his runs which is sometimes leveled at collie crosses. knocked over a good number of daytime hunted up hares. good jumper and retriever but was very hardmouthed from his first rabbit to
