  4. So do I, but they just don't realise it yet
  5. yeh maybe so , but pits are intelligent dogs , and can take to training just like any dog can, and a lot have sensitive nature a e/collar could fook them up totally I would like to take this opportunity to stand up for electric, and prong collars. But the handler seemed to have to prong collar attached to a leash which was dangling. This would give corrections to the dog for no reason. Then using two seperate forms of correction at the same time seems a little odd as well. But then again, like someone mentioned alot of police dogs do not handle as well. Nice vid jigsaw! My
  6. i suppose mate , as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder , I wouldn't say there attractive looking dog like say gsd or lab ,pointer, but seeing well bred fit lookin apbt on a lead or doing the above, for me is great sight to see, but ive been round bull breeds since I was a kid, and think a apbt is fantastic breed of dog, but there not for everybody They may not be attractive dogs, but a well bred, fit bull dog is an impressive sight in my eyes. Not that often seen, and outnumbered by frog headed barrels in my view

  11. I know where your coming from, but it depends what level you expect to reach, and which position you want to play. but if you ain't got the minerals, or the physical capabilities, then your right to take up ping pong some folk just give up too early IMO, but then its just my opinion
  12. It's a tough one Stabba, but many folk will always do what they always did when it comes to training, entering and nurturing a dog to the best of its abilities. Some dogs need a different approach/change of scene to get the best out of them. But how many are prepared to do it? I know I haven't in the past, and with the wisdom that comes with age, my arse needed kicking back then for my blinkered view
  13. Just because a dog is average at the job you expected to do, doesn't mean it will not shine at others. Or even shine if you had a different approach to training and entering it. There's more than one way to crack an egg you know!

  15. SKB 200e is a good choice. just make sure you get the single trigger mechanism checked over by a gun smith as they are known to play up a bit at times. Also the AYA matador should meet your requirements and do double duty for a bit of wildfowling/fox drives too
  16. try these. Pricey but worth in if you need 'em waterproof
  17. Fair enough! consider my head shaken. But if you think that me ripping into you, your sorely mistaken, it's was more a wee prod
  18. there are many average lurchers out there, But at 2 year old, only owned for 3 months, and running golf courses will never show a dog to be at its best, especially if its carrying an injury!

Taken from IPCC guidelines 29 It is anticipated that chief officers will delegate many of their responsibilities for complaint handling and determining appeals. (References to chief officers in this guidance include those people who have delegated authority to act on the chief officer’s behalf.) This is permitted by the regulations, but chief officers should always be mindful of the need for public confidence in the arrangements they make. It is important that those who might be affected by decisions made under delegated powers can have confidence that the person to whom the power i
